so gk is 300 rates to unlock right and is awarded to the map creator
but i have a q

what if say youre at 100 rates
i share my map to my friend for him to work on it when say im gone for say like a week on vacation
and then i get the map back and host again

that situation isnt real
but if i share the map and get it back kater on and host again
will that mess the rates up to where i wouldnt unlock gk anymore
would the # reset
out would i get it still at 300

The world is listed under your name  so i would think that as long as you are the one to reach the final 300th rate it would still count, could be wrong.

Yes.
It would earn you GK, many have done this as a easy way to get GK.

However do not believe you need to be the one to achieve 300th.
Otherwise you would need to make a new account to re-unlock it instead of just getting an extra rate like you do now.

As a map has 300 rates and is under your name you will get the Golden Knight. If it has passed the 300 mark while you were not host, host the map and get 1 more rate. It should unlock.
