It's a very good JRPG, if you want to sink some hours in it's worth it, you can borrow pawns from friends or rent them from available pawns in the rift, if they are a higher lvl than you. It's best to have a save file with just the Dragon's Dogma game, then use the DD Dark Arisen disk, but not necessary. I have a lvl 193 main and pawn, I think one more time on hard mode will get me to max lvl. You should at least try it out, but give it more than an hour or two before you make up your mind about it, it's slow to start.

Alright, Quad. I'll see if I can find a demo or something. I'd like to see why my brother plays it so much, as well as everyone else. Thanks for the info.

The demo doesn't do it justice, and the game's first 2 hours or so are kind of slow, but it picks up speed and gets really good. See if your brother will let you borrow the game for a few days.

I would but it's on his hard drive, and he lives all the way out in Missouri. :/

My ranger and mage pawn, also beat Bitter Black Isle DLC, going to farm the boss for more good gear. You're missing out on a good game Jack.

If I had some spare cash, I'd get it. Unfortunately, still waiting for my check. :/

If you get it get the regular Dragon's Dogma, make a game save, then get the Dark Arisen, it has all the DLC on the disk, but you'll get some extra stuff for having the regular game save.
