Grease the Wheels:
Spoiler for Hidden Content:
I'll try and stay professional with this. I'm James Cartham, I was born on the 18th of October in 1986, Tampa, Florida. I have no wife or kids, and I'm a journalist. I was recently studying enigmas known as "wheels" in a online community website, almost too inviting, called "greasethewheels.com," which are supposedly simple people that run a game on the website. Yet some people have reported getting messages on their computer screens that simply flash by and say, "The wheels need oil. Your time has come."
Then their computers will simply cease working entirely, and in one incident, a man finally got his computer working again, and was found dead the next morning, entirely drained of all of his blood, with no visible cuts, slashes, or scrapes. This is what I know now. But how long will this last?

These "wheels" are supposedly just your average website-running people, and they apparently do this as a hobby. Yet a hobby as sadistic as this, I find that hard to believe. Nobody has ever seen someone who is a "wheel", and so we have decided they aren't people at all, but actually just programs. They manifest browsing programs, operating systems, and all manner of popular programs and websites. These things are like viruses, only much, much worse. People try out the game on dares, courageous moments, and parties as a fun thing to do, akin to Bloody Mary. But this is real, deadly, and impossible to evade. These will take any opportunity to kill you, and in a most horrific way.

They will slowly captivate you with images on the website, like porn, high quality art, and other digital images, then the images get slowly more grim, until you see a face, all white, clutching its ears and screaming in a dark room. This means that they are coming for you, the "wheels", and they will pursue you until you are dried of all of your blood and bodily fluids.

As your time in this stage begins, you'll lose memories. If you try to recall them, you'll only recall the screaming face, and it has made fully grown police officers cry. This makes me very anxious, and so I hope nobody tries to remember anything. Slowly all of your memories will fade away, until all you can think about is the face, screaming in agony. There are no pictures matching it available, and all artists I have tried to hire to draw it disappeared, turning up a week later either insane, or dried of their blood.

As I grew more and more impatient to get results on the site, I just decided to start looking myself. That is how I no longer know who my parents were, and I'm beginning to question if I ever had any. I'm afraid to remember, though, after I tried once and was haunted by the face for a week while I slept. Then I got the dreams.

They started out pleasant, happy, and joyous, like a wedding of a friend. Then something minor would go wrong, and slowly the dream would become a night terror. At the end, just before I would wake up, one of the people from my dream, no matter what the circumstance, would be the screaming face. I would hear a primal sounding scream, and I would snap awake, and my window would be open, and some wind blowing, no matter how still the night, like someone had just swiftly departed. Does this happen to other people, too? I can't, no, I won't remember.

I can feel the blood already draining from my fingertips as I go on typing. I fear this may be my last night, but I feel I must jot down my memories so that someone may get use of them. I hear a rustling noise outside, but I dare not look to see what it may be. I had something to say, a warning, but I can't remember what it was. I must remember. Finally, the sweet embrace of death is eminent. But I have just remembered the phrase! A doctor, he had no name, said to me, "There aren't many who've played Grease the Wheels. Those who have survived come back scarred and husks of their former selves. Stay away from it, James, as It does only harm, and it claims more of the foolish every day."

I must count myself among the foolish this site has claimed. But I won't let it be the one that gets me. As soon as I finish writing this, I'll go hang myself. I'm so sorry, but my time has come, and the wheels need oil.

Here's one I wrote a while back.

Item #: SCP-1992

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-1992 is to remain within its 4ft by 4ft iron pen at all times. All authorized male personnel are strongly reminded to restrain SCP-1992 prior to entering its pen. The restraints are to be thoroughly checked over at intervals taken every fifteen minutes. SCP-1992 is to be under CCTV surveillance at all times. CCTV system upgraded following incident #2.

Under no circumstances are female personnel to enter the visible sight of SCP-1992. If such circumstances arise, any female personnel within the visible range of SCP-1992 are to never break eye contact with SCP-1992, and are to exit SCP-1992ís confines to report for decommission. SCP-1992ís containment procedures are to be upgraded proceeding incident #2.

Description: SCP-1992 appears to resemble a human infant. Though it is to be noted that no physical and metabolic aging processes have ever been recorded, SCP-1992ís physical age is 8 months.

SCP-1992 was recovered by field team [REDACTED] in the east coast of [REDACTED]. Field team [REDACTED] were sent to [REDACTED] after a spike was reported in local media networks regarding the mutilation a female in her mid twenties. The female, name, [REDACTED] was found by a local resident of the area. Her entire lower abdominal region had been almost entirely removed. Local forces called to the scene found SCP-1992 contained within a womb, to which had been removed from the female.

Though SCP-1992ís full motives are unknown at this time, SCP-1992 will, within the presence of a female, almost instinctively begin to beg for attention. It is to be noted that Dr Isaac [REDACTED] claimed to have witnessed SCP-1992 form the word ďhomeĒ in what the Dr described to be Hebrew (Bayit). Upon contact with an obedient female SCP-1992 will allow itself to be cradled within the females arms. After 30-43 seconds, two major changes, appear to take place within SCP-1992ís physical appearance. A whitening of its pupils, the right eye experiencing the effect more prominently than the left. Followed by the excursion of six large, bone-like protrusions sprouting out from within its lower jaw. It is noted that SCP-1992 does show signs of intense agony during these processes. Once the physical changes are completed, SCP-1992 will immediately heighten its arms, in all witnessed cases causing the female to instinctively attempt to catch SCP-1992. SCP-1992 will proceed to then grasp on to the females lower abdomen using the six tooth-like fangs protruding from its lower jaw. In three of the six witnessed incidents, if SCP-1992 was unable to be restrained, the entire lower abdominal region of the female was removed. SCP-1992 on two incidents was recovered contained within the disembodied wombs of the mutilated females.

Addendum: Incident #2. 9:28pm February/21/2011. Senior medical assistant Judith [REDACTED] entered the confines of SCP-1992ís holding facility. Violating the basic standards of containment procedure, the Senior medical assistant entered SCP-1992ís iron pen, ignoring all restraining procedures, and proceeded to pick up SCP-1992 by its upper chest. After sitting in the far right corner of the iron pen for three minutes, the senior medical assistant appears to drop SCP-1992, only to halt its fall midway. SCP-1992 then somewhat savagely bites and scratches its way through the medical assistants lower abdominal region. Senior medical assistant Judith [REDACTED] death occurs two minutes after SCP-1992ís initial assault at 9:39. SCP-1992 was later found with its body only half inserted into the Senior medical assistant Judithís disemboweled womb. Upon inspection of all CCTV footage recorded between 8:57pm a 9:26pm, SCP-1992 can be heard crying in precise five second intervals. It is also to be noted that no physical changes were seen to take place during this incident, though this has been put down to the rear facing angle of the CCTV system.

Incident #1 4:29pm January 2nd 2011

A transcript as recorded by Dr [REDACTED] following the incident with SCP-1992 and Subject #[REDACTED]:

Doctor: Audio log #25. January 2nd 2011. Subject #[REDACTED], female, 26, is to enter SCP-1992's cell. Now, #[REDACTED], please enter. Remember to keep telling me what's going on throughout the test.

Subject: (Slamming of metal can be heard, presumed the heavy iron door) Well... It's just a baby. Aww, I think he likes me. Should I pick him up?

Doctor: Please proceed.

Subject: (SCP can be heard gurgling happily upon contact) I don't see why he's in here. He's perfectly - What's he doing? Doctor?! (Screams can be heard, both SCP's and #[REDACTED].

Subject #[REDACTED] was found mutilated and SCP-1992 had to be tranquillized to remove the body. Dr [REDACTED] was decommissioned for such cruelty.
