right now i'm just looking into the different kinds of mods out there for the pc version, where theres a few that i really like/will come in handy, such as noclip, and then also a few cool ones that i saw, such as this mod

that allows you to enter extra buildings that you normally cant get to,except in cutscenes or missions.also with this specific one i think you can access liberty city and actually explore it,which is cool, being that in any version normally, you can go to liberty city in one of the later versions, where if you activated a few cheats(idk if theres versions where they patched this)

and you would be able to explore liberty city.idk if it was intended or forgotten, but its pretty cool.but with a mod that i found, and possibly with the one they mentioned in this video, you can get to liberty city almost with no problem, which is cool, being that's something else i can get to add onto the map, which speaking of map, being xbox  is pretty limited to map size and how much it can handle,i prob wont be able to do the full san andreas map until pc,due to bugs or problems ill run into most likely...and hopefully u can have a infinite sized height, sorta like this

I can't find the post, but the other day someone asked if it would be possible to change the depth of the world (through modding), for DigDeep as an example, to a much larger depth than defaultly in game.  This is just to answer the question that was asked, and to show that it can easily be done, especially for PC.

Changed max sea depth to 5,000 and max height to 5,000, which has some interesting results:

I managed to fall to a depth of 4824 in the ocean, before hitting a mountain (I could go deeper), but didn't take a screenshot of it.  I can fall all the way to the max value I set it (5000)
Spoiler for Hidden Content:

EDIT: In 2.5, the Infinite Biome type is in the game, but not functioning (I'd imagine the code isn't complete yet), here's what happens when I changed DigDeep to load as an "Infinite" biome type:
Spoiler for Hidden Content:
Really looking forward to infinite biomes/terrains

idk if we'll be able to,but if we can, then that will save me all the trouble for deciding on a proper start to where i have the center of the land at,where if i do it too high or low, then either if its too high, then things high up will get cut out or not be added being i started building too high up,and then if its too low, things that are lower, like towards sea level or below couldnt get added,so hopefully if that is added for pc,that will solve my worrys on that

then theres something else i saw that im actually wondering about, which was that i saw a mod(prob more out there thats been done) that was a hd remake or reskin of the game,to where the one i saw looked cool, but it didnt feel like the game that i played growing up,so idk if i wanna use hd mods(ill make a poll on it,so if u can give feedback on it,it would be appreciated)

overall ill be looking more into different mods, allthough i probably have all i need, and yeah....i guess this will be my next major project, allthough i was hoping to do a rpg style map :P

so i was doing some work looking into the mod to enter more buildings, where i finally figured out how to install it propperly, where i was confused for a while, being my san andreas is off of steam, and not a retail version, where a few tutorials were for the retail san andreas and not the steam one, where for the steam version requires you to downgrade to version 1.0,so that mods work for the game. the only hard part of adding the mod was that you had to download 2 or 3 different tools, and then for the mod itself, you had to replace some files from the gta sa file, and replace them with a tool called IMG Tool 2.0,where theres 2 or 3 versions of the mod done by different people. So it was hard to figure out what i was doing wrong, being that on the youtube video in the previous post, for say one of the houses on grove street,on the video it showed people inside of it,to where the 1st time i tried installing it and it kind of working,i was able to get inside of the house, but it was empty...but now that i figured out what i did wrong,i was able to get it with people inside of the house....the only thing though is some of the houses that im supposed to be able to enter, its not letting me go inside of them, such as your 1st girlfriend's house,so i'll have to look into that more later on

as far as the other houses, for the most part they are enterable, but again some of the civilan houses that are supposed to be enterable for me arent enterable,to where i also have the other problem with how some houses seem to work part of the time, and one or 2 instances i entered a house, and then had to use a suicide cheat to exit the house...so idk whats going on with that, where i wish the mod was just simple and not soo complicated...but its still cool, being it offers more for me to do and build,or just explore, which is really cool imo,and just offers more for you guys...even if alot of the interiors arent much to offer...it just offers more to explore i guess, which is always fun

Spoiler for Hidden Content:

now obviously this isnt all of the accessable buildings with the mod or that are hidden in game, but this gives you an idea

there was a mod for fort carson, but when i tried to add the files onto the san andreas folder,it crashes my game when i go to start the game,so i think i did something wrong there,or the mod doesnt actually work,so i guess ill be redoing everything again lol

So I'm looking into buying the retail version from rockstar this week with my paycheck being a lot of mods call for that version,or they seem to use it.i can still use mods on the current one but idk if there's a difference file wise

One or 2 mods called for files in the data/maps/country folder that my steam version didn't have so maybe getting a regular version will help mod useage

guess I'll have to see what happens once I get the game and look

heard about this yesterday or the day before and decided to check it out and its actually really weird/cool

so with this mod, apparently it's a huge mod and/or it definitely changes things up alot...idk what it's compatible with and/or if it's actually just a regular mod,but if i can use everything that i have now with it then that will be cool

so apparently with this mod,it adds parts of other cities...definitely not all of the land, being that prob would've been impossible to do, or extremely difficult to try and create land for 4 additional cities or between each of them, which would pretty much be a game itself from all the work that it would require :P

but with this mod, apparently you're able to go to Bullworth,Liberty City,Vice city, and Atlantis?(what gta is that in)

anyways,i know i have yet to work on this map,or even have a start on it,but being now that pc will come a lot sooner, which would also mean way bigger maps than  what we have now,im prob not going to start it until pc..i haven't even been on my 360 hardly or had the energy to being im working alot of hours now,and with my current schedule,im pretty tired and/or not motivated to turn on my 360,but if i can figure a better schedule out down teh road then hopefully that means more time to game
