If you have watched the movie Suicide Squad, do you think the hype was worth it? It got 135.1 Million dollars on the release weekend, absolutely obliterating the last box office record set in 2014 by The Guardians of the Galaxy which earned a tiny 94.3 Million on its release weekend compared to Suicide Squad.

By the way, I havent seen it yet, im watching it in 2 hours.

It is a fun movie. It has alot of issues, but I enjoyed it. It is like a discount guardians of the galaxy, and you can tell much of it was heavily inspired by it. So if you like guardians, you will probably enjoy this one

Agreed, it is a pretty noticeable spinoff, with the whole, random people (bad guys) become good guys and save the world.

The bar scene definitely was also reminiscent of the 12% scene in guardians, and the soundtrack also reminded me big time of guardians. Also alot of the personal relationships seemed similar, like having Joker there and have a personal connection to Harley reminded me of yondu's relationship with quill, and Diablo calling the squad his new family was similar to drax and his relationship with the guardians.

I really liked it but I did get a guardians of the galaxy vibe
