Stance on Evolution
« on: July 29, 2016, 10:10:35 PM »
Id like to hear what you users think of the whole monkey to man evolution. I think it is absolutely impossible because if we evolved from fish, or apes, why are apes and fish still roaming Earth?

It's not fish or apes, it's both, we evolved from apes, apes evolved from fish, fish evolved from ... etc.

Fish and apes are still roaming around because evolution is primarily driven by changes in environment. And change does not effect the whole environment in the same way at the same time. Different parts of the environment change in different ways, at different times. So the organisms in these different parts change/evolve differently to other organisms in other parts. Some environments hardly change at all and the organisms living there don't change/evolve much (relatively) either, whereas other parts of the environment can change drastically and the organisms living there must change/evolve faster or they die out, hence there are still fish and apes roaming around at the same time as us.

I don't understand why scientists have proof of things, but people choose to throw them out because they refuse to believe the conclusion. There is DNA data as well as similar traits that tie us to apes, yet some people don't like the idea that they come from a bunch of monkeys, so they have to make things difficult.

Evolution isn't a theory - it's a fact.

What animals we evolved from is up to debate, however.
