YK, were both slightly dumb.... Lol, I said you could have used the notify script to show it... Then I saw the video and remembered when Craig added it one Dev stream... Lol

1: Why is the debug tool changing the dynamic of the behaviour when it is used?
It is very clear that when it was active, The NPC's wandering was erratic and weird, Yet when it was inactive, The wandering looked normal and more natural.
It is because in order to visually follow the execution of the nodes, the execution has to be slowed down. If it was not slowed down, the nodes are executed so fast, you would not be able to follow the execution and it would not be useful.

The wandering is affected because of this.
It can probably be fixed.

Could something like this be added for scripts? Sure, It's easy enough to add a notify to areas to make sure they are working, But you can do the same thing with NPCs. In addition, Having a visual indicator as to where a script is failing would be really useful.

Especially if the game told you what the script was trying to do.

I can't tell you how many times I've messed up on a script by accidentally using global history. Those kinds of problems aren't easily noticed, And some way to quickly spot them would be great.

It may be redundant at times, But I think it would be really useful.

It is possible.

It is also possible to use the same visual drag/drop node editor to create scripts. Which would have the added benefit of supporting AND/OR condtionals and nested conditionals.

Dear Craig

This is all I ask, it would benefit people so well in debugging scripts and would allow for people to more easily show scripts and the flow of them rather than have to write a 3 paragraph essay on how they work. Also i could see it being great for creating script "templates" if you will were the creator can set up a base script and people could then add to it. Yes I know people can do this now but people don't and i think for PC people and new players will have a more friendly introduction to scripts than us. I said it on the steam if the NPC behavior editor could be also used fore the script you said yes it could so can we change that could to yes it will :).

New video up. In this one I talk about total miner early access and the control scheme. No thumbnail atm but I'll upload one later.

Personally, I don't like I as the inventory key. It's kinda across the keyboard from the other keys that you use often.

I believe MC's inventory key was I for a while, And it was not well received because of this fact.

I'm not sure what would be better due to E being prospect, But I feels wrong.

I didn't hear "q" being a used key, what about that? Or even having the prospect on "q" and the inventory key on "e".
