I'm not going to forgive someone for slaughtering innocent women, children, and men for any reason.

These murderers deserve to be wiped from the face of the planet.

Amen. You have to kill them, keep killing them, and then kill their pet goat. The only language those people speak is bullets.

Its amazing how far a small group of people can twist the words of a really good book (Qar'an)and use it as justification for killing people. I think by many of my posts on the forum you can tell I am a rather strong Conservative. But I was watching fox news where one of the correspondents called for a war on Islam. I can't believe so many believe ISIS is an islamist group. Call them what you prefer, but there belief is so far from the principles of the Islam Religion is a completely different thing

I feel very bad for the people who have died in this attack, but it is a little insulting to the people who wasn`t french and have died. There may of been Americans, Irish, Italian, Canadian, and even Mexicans. You neverr know who else was in that inccident.

I don`t feel as though the terrorists should be forgiven. I mean, they killed so many people. What if your family died because of them? You would most certainly not forgive them. You would want to avenge them.

Anyway, I wish that I could of done something about this. All we can do now is respect the fallen... (v_v)

Plenty of people die from cancer, yet breast cancer is the one most publicly known. Are you saying making October Breast Cancer Awareness Month offensive to those who have die from lung or pancreatic cancer?

You can thank the media for that.

What's even more interesting, particularly with TV media, they interview experts, and as soon as the experts start talking about what's really going on, they're immediately cut off by the interviewer, and the subject is changed. This happens systematically across all western TV media I've seen.

It's called an analogy:

analogy
əˈnalədʒi/
noun
noun: analogy; plural noun: analogies

a comparison between one thing and another, typically for the purpose of explanation or clarification.

First of all, most of what you said is very true. I'd like to acknowledge that.

However, there are a couple reasons why the public outcry is a lot larger than it is for a lot of the examples you mentioned.

1. We have a written treaty with France, called the NATO, which states that any attack on their soil means that we treat it as if it is an attack on our soil. That means that if what is happening continues, we might go to war, which impacts all of our lives DIRECTLY. All these things you mentioned about terrorism and war happening in these smaller countries are indirect issues that the general public tends not to associate with itself.

2. France is also able to spread information about what is happening and have it mean more to people around the world, because it is an easily recognizable first world country with a lot of money that pretty much everyone knows something about. I doubt most people could point to Palestine on a map.

Regardless, comparing tragedy to tragedy isn't really something we should be doing. Death is death is death, and we should do all that we can to stop this from happening in the future and give support to the families who have lost their brothers/sisters/husbands/wives/sons/daughters/etc..

Side note, Anonymous officially announced that they are waging war against ISIS today. They tread the neutral ground between good and not so good at times, but this move has gotten them bonus points in my book.
Hmmmm...

To be honest with you... I can see WW3 happening within a decade... It is inevitable.

I don't care what anyone says but it really does seem like things are being staged towards a war at this point.

While i give my sympathies to anyone who died, And their families and friends, Everyone needs to run realize, These people are terrorists, Their war strategy revolves around terror, Lowering the morale of their enemies.

I do not believe that this should be treated any differently than any other killings, Because that is what they want, They want you to fear them.

I bet they do, but the multitude of French Bombers flying over hostile air space right now disagree with that statement.
