There never were set requirements for MOTH, also Its FAR from random... thats the entire idea, which it should be but not in that fashion

you fail to understand what a listed requirement is.
Everything is based off of the whims of a single person.

People need to employ more critical thinking around here.

I could give you a reason on how they were a good member to the community for every member but that would be a long list. Have you seen the post. Sure some of the newer winners did not have a real reason but most did and bob states the reason in the post.

Why would he not just re-instate MOTM with new restrictions then? Critical thinking goes a long way

He does not want to do it monthly anymore that is why. Also Miner of the Month sounds weird for what the star poster is now.

Its going to end up being a problem if its based on opinionated whims.
I still think there needs to be some basic set requirements.

Thats a very childish outlook on things, Its not the way to pass out awards where there are many people involved.

If Craig knows what i'm taking about (demis being a prime example) then I'm sure he will come up with some midway compromise.

I do not see what the problem is with this award. I am saying that's how it will be handled. At the end of the day it is bobs decision on this award not yours or mine. And to be honest you are just going to have to deal with it.
