There is no blueprint for torches, they're unlocked from the beginning. Same for Sticks, WoodPlanks, BirchWoodPlanks, WoodPickAxe, WoodShovel, WoodHatchet, Workbench, and Crate.
Oh! Thanks for letting me know, I forgot all about it. I'll correct that.

For finding scrolls, I like to have a large sum of money first, and the amulet of flight unlocked. Buy an amulet of flight and as many sunboxes/ torches you can afford, the go through Hell, the Oasis, and the Nexus, and light up everything. Just keep flying around placing your choice of lightsource untill the whole layer is lit up, and then move on to the next. I managed to get 48 out of 49 from this, and the others you don't find are more than likely either in a cave or a spot you missed when lighting stuff up.

I generally found my remaining Wisdom Scrolls in the lower layer caverns. Around Hell and a bit above Hell. I think it varies but you are right. Definitely re-trace areas you never got to investigate more previously.

It's much better and more organized than my tiny little guide. Any bit of information or guide helps on this topic. Anything to further inform members who are unaware, or are apprehensive, about Dig Deep Mode and what is involved. Maybe we'll start seeing more maps hosted soon?

Another fun tip, mine anything you need in-game. If you are not in a hurry, just mine it. Dig Deep maps hold pretty much anything you'd want. Diamonds, Rubies, Sapphires, Carbon, Obsidian, Uranium, Platinum...tons of wonderfully expensive ores and minerals. Ya just gotta go searching for them. Each one is usually in abundance at a certain layer, the only thing you have to do is use your mini-map to search for the "buried treasure." And, the best part of all: THEY ARE FREE! We can break down which layers generally hold which of these, and more if anyone wants. I know a few, and other Dig Deep pros know most of the rest!

Goes to show just how much we've learned from the original Mr. Dig Deep :3 and how much we have improved on your original teachings!

Let's keep improving our methods and skills to show other new players/older ones with little experience in Dig Deep all the information they need!

DiamondBack662's Freeland Map.

Never got to visit this myself, but it is a remarkable looking Dig Deep map just from the photos alone.
