Its going to get more popular each update untill a patch happens that ruin the method they are using, And if you think the odd few people doing it is bad, imagine if they there was a 3-4month time between major upadtes where players could do this.

So my question still is, are they going to get reset?

Why worry about it?

If they are disrupting your game, you just put them on your "avoid player" list and forget them.

If your just worried about your spot on a leaderboard, then I don't know how to help you.

He is worried that All his countless hours grinding are now considered wasted. Its just not very fair.

I would suspect the obvious ones will be removed from the board.

Cheating at a sandbox game... how pathetic that makes one look.. takes a truly pitiful human being to stoop to the lowest of the low. Leader board ...no.. more like a wall of shame.

Sadly, Cheaters gonna cheat.

I addressed this problem before the boards were implemented.

Response was,

A great feature should not be with-held just because a few decide to abuse it.
But there should be some sort of reset if possible.

Much like the MC leader board.. I'd only compare my progress to friends that I know rather than the community as a whole. I don't keep the company of cheaters.

That does make sense to me,

But I think the idea is that most large-scale games have global boards, and to compete we needed one as well.
Im not sure If I agree 100% with that though,

I would be okay with local boards for just the players you've met,
However theres something about having a global board that gives the game a more professional feel, So it kinda needs to stay in the game, but if it does It should be rid of modders to the best of our ability.

There is a huge difference between most exploits and mods.

There was a nodded skills map hosted by someone. His name was like dragonkiller or something. Like that. He had lv 99 looting smelting and combat like attack defense etc. Just letting you know cause I did join it before.  :3
I play some game called Total Miner.
