The scripts were changed by the most recent update, some don't work how they are supposed to and makes some of the games impossible as well as some other intricate things different than what they are meant to be...

I don't plan to make a new map as I don't have XBLG nor plan to have it any time soon

A lot of the scripts have been ruined by the new update. Without XBLG I see no reason to even try remaking anything. Thanks to al who have played and gave their support!

OP updated!

Been a while since I've been able to say that and mean any actual progress has been made on the map. So glad for all the people that have given me a lot of positive feedback on the map and thanks to Mysterio for dropping by and recording it! <3

I don't have gold, so I can't join your world and help, but I am really good with scripts (my mini game world I used to host has a avocadoe ton of scripting, it's not even funny) and I wouldn't mind helping through messages of some sort. Message me on Xbox (gamertag is same as forum name) and I'll see if we have a different platform we can talk on a little easier

Well the plan is I'm getting a summer job but I'm not sure I'm gonna be spending the money I make on video games (that's even if I do land a job, which isn't even that likely anyway since I'm a high school student with no outstanding job qualifications)

But it's good to see at least someone misses this world haha

OP updated

It's been a while, and I still don't have XBLG, but I've decided to start working on this map once again in the hopes that either a friend gives me some XBLG again, or a wonderful member of the forums donates me a few months... Neither of which are likely, but I enjoy working on this map nonetheless.

Thanks again for everyone's support! <3

No one thinks this would be useful?

But I don't think the 1,000 Scripts, 250 + buildings and zones are really helping on Baystone.
It depends how many scripts are executing at the same time and what they're doing. Even if you had 5,000 scripts, they wouldn't cause any lag if they're not executing. Also zones shouldn't be causing any lag. We have a test map with a couple hundred zones and several hundred map markers, and they're not causing any lag.

Also lag is too general a word. There are different types of lag. There is draw/render lag (lower than 60fps but not jerky/random). There is general CPU lag, lower frame rate, usually causing an incosistent chop. There is network lag where anything based on networking can take a while to update, etc. So just saying something is laggy is not specific enough.

On the topic of lag and what causes it, would scripts that add history to a player cause lag if there were a lot running individually? I feel like this is a self explanatory question but something that doesn't have to render shouldn't cause lag should it? I get a lot of (I guess it would be server lag? I'm not familiar with the specifics of different kinds) lag in the sense that it takes longer to press buttons, use switches, or other commands to execute fully.

This all only starts when people start to play Gel Clicker on my map. Which has a few different scripts that continuously add history to yourself every second and you can have multiple of each allowing them to stack
