This time we're giving away a copy of a game called Total Miner. I've never heard of it, but apparently this is a game about fighting evil ducks while building houses and eating pizza. The prize for this contest has been kindly donated by @Jesse

To enter just post something in this topic.

The winner will be chosen on 7/11/18

Only accounts made before 7/04/18 with 25+ posts are eligible.

-Don't spam the topic with non-entry posts.

This is a Steam copy, so obviously you'll need a Steam account to win. Your prize will be given to you by Jesse via Steam gift.

I don't know, maybe the opposite would be better in this game. Nerfing your movement speed and making you press a button or anything to get it back to "normal" would suck for longtime players. However, a walk option wouldn't be without it's uses. I mean for one, it would be great move slower when trying not to fall off a block. Two, in theory it could provide a combat advantage if implemented in a way that changes your stats. Running into someone's fist or sword or claws would result in them hurting you worse in theory, while your own attacks would have more momentum when moving at full speed. So by increasing defense and reducing attack while "walking", you can create more intricate combat. And third, and probably useless for most people, I think it would add a nice touch when it comes to RPG maps to be able to choose to not always be running at full speed wherever you go. I just think that instead of lowering the normal speed of our players we can give an advantage to going slower once in awhile.

Does anyone remember a guy named BN Swiftness
I have this friend named Jordan (BN Swfitness) and having very few high points in his life he often tells our group of friends about his time playing Total Miner Forge. How at some point he was a recognized as Total Miner Icon or celebrity.

We all assume that he is BSing but I figured I might as well ask the people of the community to validate his story.

Thanks for your time!
No, we don't remember "your friend".

That's alot of running water being wasted. Here in California people would get on you for that
As another Californian and owner of this map, this is all recycled water from urine. It's ok
Well maybe you should make something that catches the water so you can use it to irrigate the crops. Otherwise everyone will starve because you are wasting all the urine water on a unnecessary fountain

Alright, after 4 years of retirement I have returned to assist GK in this map since it shows a lot of promise and will be very fun to play.

So far I have made a lil' twist to the spawn however this isn't completely finished, I will help around the map and post progress on what I've done on the map.

And here it is.

After so long I have become rusty so let me know what you think!

HEY LOOK! A MAP IN PROGRESS.

The color schemes look beautiful. Pepsi colours so I'm a fan. Designs are pretty top notch.
Speaking of Pepsi, what do you think of the new redesign? I've had alot of confused customers asking where the Pepsi want since they switched to the red and white cans. It's almost as if they want to be coke, because then they can make great tasting lemon lime soda that doesn't taste like chit. I mean I know its alot like the classic design but they used to be the only soda we sold in a blue can so it was distinguishing, they threw it all away just for nostalgia or what?

I mean... I don't even have the four year award yet
Yeah. Trub told me not to give it to you. He thought it would be funny or something. It's his fault.
Trub's just a dirt so and so.
You're just jealous that I have more awards than you.
You can't even spell rewards
You can't even spell Atlas properly.

At least I'm not Atlas property.

5 year awards are up now. I've removed the minimum post count requirement for the year awards but there's a minimum activity requirement as it would have had to jump up to like 1300 or 1400 for the 5 year, which is getting a bit out of hand. So how it works now is you must have at least 40 posts within the last year to qualify for the award. For those people who have a period of inactivity, you may only claim one new award at a time. So for example, if you have the 1 year and 2 year awards, and then go inactive for 2 years and then come back to make 40 posts, you'll only be eligible for the 3 year award. Not the 3 and 4 year awards. You'll become eligible for the 4 year award once 365 days have passed since you earned the last years award, assuming you've kept up with the minimum activity requirement.

So if you're missing an award due to not having the minimum post count, go do a quick check of your posts and see if you've met the 40 in the past year requirement.
I mean... I don't even have the four year award yet
