In a way there is a way to do this... We have done it on our server, but I'm pretty sure once the server closes then the scripts stop running...same goes with when they logout... We had it setup so that they can deposit money towards the loan until it is finally paid off...and then they can resume with another loan...if you want a more detailed script I can show you later?

I suppose that's a better way to do it. I thought that if you left the game then it would continue when you joined back. I'd like to see it if your offering my gamertag is casual onion

Is it a city rpg map by any chance?

Hello, would it be possible to add a feature to make it available to change textures for the ambient sound blocks. This has probably been suggested but I wanted to have an input! I guess it would be idea for those with doorbells on buildings...I dunno

Hello, I was wondering if it's possible to make a script in which players could take a 10k loan and it would remove (X) money from inventory/chest every (X) minutes and it only let them take a loan out again once they have paid the first one off

Creative Features / A couple of scripting questions

I need help with a couple of things
1. With relative Co-ordinates can I save the building with the script as a component and put it on a different map with no effect on the script itself
2. What do I put as the co-ordinate in a relative command (I think is rel something)
3. What happened to the fill/clear regions (think latter may still be there) has the fill clear been replaced as setregion. This is as I want to make an opening 3x3 door for a player storage room
4. Can you make a script that only one player can operate
5. Any chance of me being able to make a membership script so that people pay a fee and then can purchase a storage unit.

To sum it all up I want to build a member only self storage style rooms

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Ok in that case has anyone get any ideas for buildings? They must be what I call "active" (ie a player can do something in them like purchase a chest in a bank etc) Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks! but I keep getting a sign glitch where all signs are blanked and having to redo purchased houses, building names and other stuff is becoming a bit of a chore! I guess I should continue want I'm doing because you guys seem to like it!

Make traffic as slow as possible. Keep everyone grid locked. Horns everywhere! If anything, put a little smog in the atmosphere with the fog script!

Hello everyone!

As some of you may know I tend to build rpg city maps but I sort of need a way to keep them I don't know...interesting. Now I have had many Rpg elements such as banks and house purchasing  but I think I need to branch out from just a city map. I try to keep my maps as realistic as possible so I like the economy style servers. Yeah so if you have an idea let me know! Answers would be greatly appreciated

Hello, I wanted to have it so that if the player has enough money to bid, they can.

Intitally I wanted to sell off buildings e.g. Houses but I guess it could be amended to sell anything but mainly properties.

I am going to have a separate button so people can sell of their properties which would be something like

Notify - (Gamertag) is selling their property)
Notify - head to auction to bid

The main bidding script would be something like
If player has inventory (xx gold pieces) then bid
Else if notify - you don't have enough

If nobody bids within 20 seconds of a bid being placed (a notification of a bid will appear at the top of each players screen) then the money will be taken from their account and transfered to the sellers account. If possible you could make it so that the more that is bid, the more is transferred from there account after purchase

Once the player has bought it they will be teleported to the house so they can but a sign with their name on.

To sum it up if a player bids 4 times at 1500 gold each, 6000gp would be taken from them and put into the sellers account.

I hope this helps and if it is not possible or some parts aren't, I would be willing to amend my ideas

Describe how you want your auction to function in as few words as possible and we'll translate it into scriptuguese..
Ok players will let able to push a button which will put up the price by 150 gold. Then when nobody else bids, the product is sold and the total cost eg 300 gold money is taken out of the last bidders inventory,
