Personally, I think if it is going to go back to that, Spiders need to be buffed. (And maybe their scream can be a little louder, For old time's sake)

At the moment, Their trivial for me to fight.
Once you get to a high enough level,
You could possibly get a Sledgehammer in an hour.

But the problem comes in Survival, Where you can get to Bedrock Super quick.

Sorry if that was a bit unclear, What i meant was, I think the Sabre would be best if in order to do enough damage to kill effectively, You have to aim for the Critical Area. And outside the critical area the damage would drop off much quicker then with a normal sword.

All weapons only have a max hit. The min hit is the same for all weapons, zero for a non critical area hit and 25% of the max hit for a critical area hit. There is no mechanism in the game to adjust this at present.

Hmm Well that's a bit of a problem. Is there any work around that could currently be done to make it so you have to hit the critical area in order to do sufficent damage?

 You got the Halberd pretty much spot on. However my idea for the Sabre is for it to have a low min hit damage, And a relatively high max hit. So in order to make good use out of it, You have to be precise and hit in the Critical area. (Head/Upper Torso)

So the Sabre would be a very skill based weapon since in order to do damage you have to aim your strikes carefully.

And i believe that may help balence out the Health Exp because you can't fight the mobs as easily if they are trapped and you aren't. You'd have to actually fight them in an Arena, Or at night time.

The pike is a actual weapon. There both different weapons.

I understand that, But the weapon that the texture shows is a Halberd.
Although, Maybe it's different in New Zealand.

There is no pictures as an example for the weapons. Pictures would be nice to reference from.

I would make pictures, But currently my pc isn't working so i have to post using Xbox Internet Explorer. (Which is a pain btw) But, I could edit the post to have one of those Ascii crafting recipes if that would help at all.

I love 2.0, It adds a lot more immersion to the game in survival based games,
And a ton more options for mapmaking.

Imho One simplist and best things to do is to have someone just look through all the text in the game and correct any typos or grammar errors. (Like how the Halberd is called a Pike)

It may be a really tedious task, But i think the game will feel a lot more professional and polished after.
