My favorite thing about both the books and the show is that unlike most shows, where you generally know the main characters will be fine, George Martin will kill off anyone at any time, your favorite character is never safe.

"Terror" is simply based on opinion, weather or not something is terror depends on the person. To one person, the attacks on September 11th were a protest, to many, it was an act of terror. The wars the United States has conducted within Iraq and Afghanistan have killed thousands of innocent civillians, but is that terrorism. To those within these countries, yes. To The people of the US, it's war against terror. Every war in World history has had civillian casualties. Now here is my question for you....

Was the bombing of London in the battle of Britain terrorism, or of war? Why is it one, and not the other? (keep in mind 43 thousand civillians died in the Battle of Britain.)
"Terrorism is the war of the poor and powerless, war is the terrorism of the rich and powerful."

In English? That is barely readable.
This a gibberish friendly thread, feel free to never come back if you don't like it. And frankly that was a lot more coherent than many of her posts, you just have to get used to it.

Yes, the bombs the U.S drop on the Middle East do hurt children, but that's not what they're intended to do. It's inevitable when the terrorist hide in towns with population. What happened it Boston was made to kill children, and other residents of the United States, in the Middle East the bombs are made to kill the terrorists, not the residents.

I suppose I should clarify the picture, the person on the bottom was a teenage U.S. citizen kill by a drone strike targeting his father in the middle east.

Perhaps it's too soon for this, but I think it makes a good point.
