Yes please. I can imagine so many scripts benefitting from this to complete great worlds. This would be a really fun, interactive function to the game.

You could make the spawn system a few ways.

If you're going total fortnite, you could run a script for making players teleport 3 blocks forward, and 1-3 blocks up, as they fall, to simulate them flying through the world, and pressing X to cancel the script or deploy them. You'd still have to figure out the fall damage part.

A better way, you could take the center of the map (X,Y,Z) and set a var system to add a minimum distance from spawn (let's say 100 blocks) and then vary the cords from there using random numbers.

Yes, sorry for not updating, but i am now, I have been testing many generation systems, spawn systems, and how the game will check if it's over, sadly due to multiplayer not being out I cant exactly test very much.

Are you refering to the 255 character limit?
When you make menu scripts, it kinda just stops adding more options after a lot of characters

Runs more smooth than 360
Runs decent with low grade computers
Has decent mod support

No multiplayer
Multiplayer is a mod rather than in base game
I feel limited on scripts on pc
Mouse movement is wierd
Small world for a pc game

Wildlands is (or will be) a battle royale map. Currently only the world has been done (slightly custom made) and the drop script (which will randomly place crates)

5/13/18: Created an effective crate system for speed, removed guns, added swords for more fun, starting on duos and squads (untested), working on automatic game end\start (untestable), working on dropping method, and finally working on an in-game currency.

4/6/18: Finished Map, and Crate system.

To take from a reply I made before on the subject of player slots. Due to the vast variations in PC hardware and network connections, I don't think their should be a hard limit but the host should be able to set one.
Ahh makes sense. Im just hoping for a vast amount of players.

I can and plan to. But how and to what extent is yet to be seen. It's hard to guess when multiplayer isn't released yet.

Worst case scenario is a windows vps with a dedicated ip and a seperate steam account with a copy of the game.

The cost to the host (i.e the world host). Would be the cost of the game which would be around 6 one off cost which would be used as the world host and always online. And a monthly cost of around 5-10 for the vps. Depending on requirements.

The above is a worst and most expensive case scenario though.
Granted if your system is well done and the option is avalable ill pay for your server

That's what I've been wondering. I hope they make it so that we can have more. I think it would also be nice to have actual servers, servers that stay up and running, even when the host isn't online

That will happen one way or another. But don't expect it from Craig as he probably has enough to do with developing the game and spending time with his family.

But yes. 24/7 servers will be possible.
Will you host them with your website thing?
