Is there anyway you or anyone who knows can make a video showing how to do the npc and item changing, just a quick overview to get to learn
There's two ways you could do it. If you read the modding API and go to items/npcs/whatever, you'll see how the start of each part of an xml includes some form of an ID tag. If you write in the id of something that already exists, you replace it, if you write in something new, it adds in a new thing. Simple.
I understand that, I can do that, but the NPC is what i really want to know, do i make a component in game then make the component the npc file or like how does that work.

EDIT: I understand now, turns out I was reading the documentation and didn't understand, we're good, I do have to make a component.

Also you have operators mixed up, on IsVar it would be
  • , on Var it would be + (no brackets)

Technically you can do this, if you do some searching i have posted a very basic wireframe of this type of script, but if you would like I can show you a world with a fully functional and customizable one and you can see how they work, it takes about 30 scripts to make a basic one with customization options.

In bob's recent showcase of the new "Embed Twitter Post" feature, I decided to click on the tweet that was embedded, it openes 2 new tabs instead of just 1, so its doubling up.

Updates on indie games arent allowed anymore, but either way this was a good time to move on to PC, but if none of that had happened and all went smoothly Im sure Craig wouldve added them soon.
