Sorry Kitty but you're probably going to have to upgrade your CPU, GPU and RAM. I'm pretty sure this setup is not going to handle the awesomeness that is Total Miner PC.

How many threads can TM address now? is it time for me to get a xeon phi? w o o o UPGRADE TIME ALREADY

16GB @2833mhz DDR4 G-Skill Trident Z
GTX 1080Ti Oc'd to 2Ghz
Intel 600p SSD 512GB boot ssd
Crucial Bx100 250GB scratch disk
R3 240GB record drive
1TB WD blue games drive
5TB WD storage drive

Main monitor is a LG Ultrawide (2560x1080) def going to upgrade soon.

Got a Schiit Modi 2 uber and a Magni 3 to power my HD 558's (HD 6xx's arriving this month)

Coolermaster master key pro s rgb keyboard
Logitech g502 mouse
Audio technica ATR2100 usb mic

Also got gigabit internet http://beta.speedtest.net/result/6833467559.png random speedtest pulled from my history.

I have one of those DX Racer chairs (before the apparent quality changes, very comfy and lifetime warranty)

I think thats it really, its all on a big L shaped desk aswell (got it for like 5 bucks second hand lol) so much space.

Dam, thats one hello of a set up you have there. I'm jealous. Don't see why you would upgrade from LG Ultrawide though.

Wanting to get a HDR 1440p 165hz monitor soon :) used 165hz gsync 1440p a couple times and its really something special.

Questions and Answers / Re: Getting into YouTube

For Editing software check out https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/nz/products/davinciresolve

For a good mic try looking at the blue yeti's or snowball mics (not sure on bluetooth lol) or Audio Technica mics, there are heaps of good budget options! so set a price and then browse around, looking at reviews (try youtube for that, if they include a mic test even better!)

For recording console gameplay most capture cards will be fine, but it does depend on your PC specs to (some have dedicated hardware encoding which reduce the load on your system significantly) others will use your cpu/gpu more and a PC to weak will result in very laggy/corrupt capturing :c which is just not fun.

https://www.amazon.com/Elgato-Systems-Capture-Definition-Recorder/dp/B00MIQ40JQ?th=1 I believe this one is whats being recommended? one of the models there anyway :)

Question, Will PC have the option to change the max framerate?
I'm sure people would enjoy playing at higher than 60 FPS.

I'm sure most people wont have the displays for anything higher than 60fps. Nor be able to tell the difference.

Anything over 60fps is overkill.

The difference between 60fps and over is more than just being able to see it, you can feel it.

Also after owning a 144hz monitor the idea that you can't tell the difference is just flat out untrue... even just using windows and being on the desktop is much smoother, the difference is phenomenal... and being able to push TM past 60fps with how optimised it is wouldn't be to hard (unless perhaps there is a major cpu bottleneck but tm is lean from what I've seen)

Overkill would be 1000fps or more lol, 60 is just the bare min now unless its a super slow paced game then 30 "can" work, it just feels sluggish if the frame-pacing is off (or stuttery) not sure what term I am looking for.

Either way I am very excited to see so much progress being made :)
