Total Miner Mod Creator

This is the official mod page for the Total Miner Mod Creator (TMMC)!

What is it?

The Total Miner Mod Creator is an easy to use mod creator for Total Miner! All that you need to do to create a mod is fill out the form with all the data you need such as the ItemData and ItemTypeData. Once you have completed creating an item, press the "Add Item" button and the item is generated in XML code. When finished simply press "Finish and Export" and the Mod file is automatically generated and created right next to the application directory! It's easy!

- Added BlueprintData creation.

- Redesigned the BlueprintData Creator.
- Changed layout for creator tabs.

- Save feature added to export xml files in the application's directory.

- Fixed critical error where XML exports without "<ArrayOfModItemDataXML>"

Your antivirus may flag this file as suspicious.

All you have to do is scan the folder (or file) and it will show that the
program is in fact not a virus.

I'm still unsure how to sign digital certificates to allow antivirus's to
trust the program, but I can assure you the program is virus free!

Total Miner Mod Creator
I am in the process of creating an application for those feeling overwhelmed by editing the XML files directly. This application will transfer the form filled out into an XML file to be put in your mod folder, making creating mods MUCH easier!

I'm hoping to finish the baseline Item Creator by the end of the week and then add NPC creation!

Ultimate Gourmet Foods Mod
This is a work in progress mod containing a huge assortment of foods, spices, recipes and tools for all you culinary artists out there!

The mod will contain the following in the version (0.1):
  • 12+ Assorted Spices
  • 15+ New Foods
  • 50+ New Recipes
  • Steak "done" levels
  • 15+ Kitchen Tools

Questions and Answers / Custom Avatars - How Will It Work?

I wasn't sure if there was a topic already made for this but:

I was curious on how we would be creating our custom avatars. Will they be made in-game, or will they be edited textures outside of the game itself? Would we be able to build a giant model of our avatar in-game and then select it with marker blocks and choose "Use as Avatar" or something along those lines?

So, I haven't been able to find a topic for programming; so I decided to create one!

I first dove into C# coding a few years ago. I started by creating small little things like a button that when pressed adds a number to a variable and displays it on the screen. I then started getting deeper, wanting to create actual games with the language. I found myself obsessed with creating games in using Windows Forms. I then decided, "I want to create a Zombie Survival RPG game on Windows Forms" which turned into my current project: ZAS-RPG (Zombie Apocalypse Survival  RPG) I started slow, but then started developing many features.

I had Items that you could eat and regain hunger, a travel menu to travel to locations that randomly generate items inside of a list box. I then developed a system to loot houses that would generate items. Then onto crafting, then NPCs and on and on!

So far, it has been going great for me! I just finished learning how to create Console games using C#

I'm very interested to see what other stories people have with programming!!

Questions and Answers / Walking Animation Setup Inquiry

So, I was curious on how a player would be able to make their own animations in game for their avatars. When watching the video, I saw that behind the first NPC animation video, there were several models of the avatar used to walk. Would a player create these as "frames" and use them to create animations, or were the animations created without the game itself?


Your world / [RPG] Skyrim Ultimate Map - Idea for PC

So I have an idea for an Ultimate Skyrim map, which will get parts of Skyrim to explore (including caves and such). I also want to add actual NPCs and quest original to the main game. Maybe, when I do finish the map, I can work on creating a Skyrim mod to make a texture pack as well as new NPC's and quest scrips, as well as creating real game weapons and armor. I have a prototype being created on my Xbox. If we are able to transfer saves over, then I will use that prototype to finish it! I hope for it to be very huge with lots of work and detail put into it!

(Also looking forward to playing multiplayer on the world with people!)

Once it comes out for PC, ill be writing scripts and other stuff to use.
