Bug Reports [Retail] / PC Version Not Launching
« on: February 27, 2018, 01:43:07 PM »

When I try to open the game from steam, it tries to load it for a couple of seconds and then fails.  It doesn't show up in task manager, and this is the only game that I have this problem with.  I have latest flash and video cards downloaded, and I've tried to launch as administrator and directly from steam as well.  I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but since the last update, I have been unable to launch the game.

Thank you for your time,

Questions and Answers / The New Music Tracks
« on: December 02, 2014, 02:18:59 AM »
I already have all the Pre-4.1 Total Miner tracks in my playlist on Youtube, but I need to complete it!
I searched and searched for any posts by Craig or the developers as to what the track names were, but I couldn't find them.  If anyone could help me out, it would be much appreciated.
Here are the other tracks I've uploaded for your convenience:

Ideas / Weapons/Items meant to be Thrown
« on: December 01, 2014, 07:35:07 PM »
I always wondered why the grenade only worked if fired from a launcher.  I want to just pull the pin and slide it under an army of spiders.
My point being: I'd like to see objects that are meant to be thrown such as hand-grenades, bouncy balls (Or something for creative that can flip switches), flares (for cave exploration and depth perception), Shuriken/Chakram (For convenient ranged combat that doesn't require ammo), and so on...
Obviously, the physics behind a chakram wouldn't be the same as that of a hand-grenade.  I was actually thinking of making the chakram have twice the drop of an arrow, but with the same kind of physics.  As for a flare, I was thinking it could act a bit like a liquid, rolling down the floor of a cave until it gets stuck, or when it burns out.  This physics thing is the hardest obstacle, perchance one of these examples is a good idea.
Regardless, I am simply putting some suggestions out there, and not expecting any kind of actual implementation.
Thanks for your time!   :)

Video / The Complete Soundtrack all in One Place!
« on: May 05, 2014, 09:45:31 PM »
Here It is! I have finally uploaded the entire soundtrack created by Kevin MacLeod on Youtube; it took a while just because I have been pretty busy, but I am fairly certain that I got all the tracks in.  If I missed any at all, or there's a typo somewhere, please notify me immediately and I will have it fixed instantaneously. I think that the music of any game is very important, and Craig chose the perfect selection from Kevin's repertoire to include in the mysterious, memorable Total Miner: Forge.
Here is the complete track list for names, if you were concerned:
An Upsetting Theme
Awkward Meeting
Blue Feather
Crossing the Threshold
Cryptic Sorrow
Danse Macabre Violin Hook
Darkness is Coming
Dark Walk
Desert City
Devastation and Revenge
Eastern Thought
Enchanted Valley
Epic Unease
Fantastic Dim Bar
Folk Round
Halls of the Undead
Impromptu in Blue
Laid Back Guitars
Long Note Four
Not as it Seems
One of Them
Pale Rider
Private Reflection
Skye Cuillin
Spider Eyes
Spider's Web
Spring Thaw
Sunset at Glengorm
Temple of the Manes
The Descent
Virtutes Insturmenti
Zombie Hoodoo

41 tracks in total
There were 43 in the list Craig has given to the community, however, Danse and One of Them seems to duplicate itself, and I cannot find any reason for it. Thank-you, and here is a link:

Also, I wasn't sure where to post this, but since it does concern the 41 videos I have posted, I guess this is the right place...

Total Miner Discussion / Music!
« on: February 15, 2014, 01:35:08 AM »
Time waster post, but I believe that this song in the link, "colorless aura," is another one of those songs that has the potential to incite some powerful nostalgia. I just wanted to point out that the music in TMF is well balanced in the creepy, sad, happy, and adventurous way. Other games such as Castle Miner Z or Minecraft have good music, but the tracks are just monotonous in feeling. Everytime I hear even classical music now, I relate it to my countless days spent in the game with my role playing friends xD

Would you agree, or would you like to see different music put in?

Questions and Answers / Music? :D
« on: February 13, 2014, 09:46:15 PM »
I am sorry to those who may be wasting their time reading this, but I'd like to ask where I could find a list of the tracks in Total Miner Forge; and not just folk round, Temptress, Dark Walk, Crossing the Threshold, or Blue Feather, but the new ones that came along with the new updates. All the music is very nostalgic, deep, and well done! Thank you so much for whoever answers.

P.S. If you have any idea on my bug:
Please tell me :)
