Ideas / New ideas taken from Minecraft.

I have been playing minecraft (yes on 360's Aquatic update.), and i came up with some new ideas.

Ideas:
*Overhead map onscreen, (instead of having to press a button, or having the map have the top or side options)
*More Dynamic weather (Kinda like the Localized weather mod from MC) #1
*Fishing (This was an idea in the past, but was dropped).
*Rails/Boats/Minecarts
*Smart NPCs
*More gravity affected blocks. (Not just Teflon.)
*Improved death animations (I tried to replicate MCs death particles, it's just not the same.)
*Finite liquids #2
*Item frames

#1 (theres is an actual mod called the localized weather mod. Look it up.)
#2 (Another mod.)

Thinking of more ideas.....

Total Miner Discussion / [360] Total Miner Nostalgia

So, I recently lost my 2.5 version of Total Miner, when I transferred my copy off of a flash drive at a friends, instead of making another copy. Then i came across an old 2.0.1 version. Which was sadly a trial version. This made me think... Is there an archive of all of the total miner versions leading up to 2.5? I'm kinda getting tired of having to watch old footage of the game pre 2.0 Total Miner on my computer. if there isn't, does anyone have a version older than 2.0? Or even 1.8?

Creative Features / [Scripts] [Item] scipt command issues

i have been trying to edit the stats of items, and its not working
For example:
Item [steelpike] [enable] [durability=2000] [damage=2000] [speed= 0.2]

It says there are no errors, but it won't work.
If you have gotten it to work, please tell me how you did it.
I have a hunch that it is either broken, non-functional, or glitched.

Creative Features / [Scripts] Particle to block placement script

Redsparx at it again.
(BTW, this one is supposed to have 2 prefixes, script and particles.)
So im trying to make a working volcano script where if a particle hits a block, the area above it is where a fire block is placed. Is it even possibls to do that sort of script?
Please help a fellow Youtuber.

So I am trying to develop a random coordinate generator for my disaster survival world, but I cant figure out how to make the script execute at a random position in the world.
Anyone know how to make that happen?

Creative Features / [Help Needed] Variables transfering from script to script

So I'm making a script for the combo assault rifle, where you select a value, using a seperate script, and that value i put in is dealt to a target when I use the gun.

However, it doesnt do anything.

I want it to where I choose the damage, and it applies that same value until changed.

I already know how to make the gun deal damage, I need help on how to transfer variables throughout scripts, because its not doing anything to enemies.

Ideas / What would you like to see in Total Miner?

There are different ideas for different people. This is where you can share your thoughts of a new idea or creation. Scripts, buildings, items, blocks, or anything you wish to see.

I personally think that a severe weather pattern/system would go nicely into the game. Especially in the grassland areas. They would be more prone to tornadoes, while in the big mud hills could have a landslide.the elements would bring in a more natural feeling to the atmosphere of the game. There could also be smoke for the fire blocks. The bigger it is, the more smoke that comes out.

Another idea is that there should be boats that moves and floats on the water. The boats would have to have a big enough space in the bottom to float depending on the size.

Thirdly,I would like to see events like raids of dryads or Indians or something like that, to add a difficulty to the already slightly hard game

Remember, these are just suggestions.
There will still be changes to this post throughout time as I come up with more ideas to add.
