Some ideas I just had a dream and got some ideas. Though they might not have much of a chance to make it in the game I still wanted to say them because you never know.
A survival mode: where you could wake up or show up in the landscape from a crash and you could collect some important items/blocks from the immediate area then go and survive regularly with some other challenges such as harsh storms and weather dangers.
( tornadoes earthquakes radiation ECT. ). ( sorry if their is a proper name for some of this stuff )
Storm frequency radio: when collected or built can pick up on incoming storms and natural disasters and gives a 1 or 2 day notice and a paper ( or anything ) giving you information on how to survive like. (Tornado inbound east heavy rain flooding may occur 3 blocks above ocean level and wood housing may take severe damage)
Radiation: when this occurs slow amount of damage and diminish of skills and health the way to avoid this is to get out of the area or go under ground until this hazardous chemical blows past or suffer from skill reduction from permanent radiation poisoning
Geiger/radiation detector : this item will pack up on the lightest sign of radiation alerting you on a powerful gust of radiated chemicals blowing your way and how deep you would need to dig to avoid damage and poisoning.
:tornadoes: tornadoes will fly by and cause horrendous danger to the surrounding area destroying weak homes of wood and clay and will also blow and misplace dirt and sand blocks. To avoid this have a building made out of a strong resistant block ( rhyolite, Komatite serpentine ECT. )
Thunder storm: this will just have heavy/medium rain and lightning and threatening thunder but no real danger unless you have a tower or are unlucky enough to get struck but other than that no real need for a safety plan
Flood: this will happen after a medium/heavy rain/thunder storm and will cause water levels to rise 2-6 blocks this will flood caves and destroy wooden creations ( workbenches chests ECT. )
Mist: this will cause no damage of affects but will just make it hard to find your way around from the blocking of seeing far distances.
If I have any more ideas I will let you know and know some of these ideas probably will not have a chance but they might or will give someone else ideas to make it in the game.
