why wouldn't there be a black storm trooper? Its not like there were no black people in the star wars universe, and they stopped being clones of jango fett shortly after the republic fell.

that being said... I doubt that is a storm trooper. Probably one of the main character in a storm trooper outfit, since throughout the series we never saw anyone under the storm troopers outfits(to my knowledge) and I doubt we ever will.

and out of all the things, you are mad at the one thing that actually makes sense? Not jar jar blinks esqe comic relief characters like the Soccer ball bot? Or the uncessesary changes like pointless laser beams on the side of the light saber?

Agy: where did they say they just decied to use there clone army??

Agy: we saw tons of them out side of the strom trooper outfits, trhey where all clones still.

Agy: a black storm trroper makes zero sense.
I liked jar jar.............he was aculty pretty cool in the cartoons
....................I emagine light sabors are a lot more like real swords then magical beams that cant possably ever move when fighting in combat.........the bars make perfect sense form a combat perspective. try picking up a sword some time and realaize why they are there.

That saber makes absolutely no sense. Unless he is a TRULY amazing swordsman and won't cut his fingers off when twirling it about, I foresee damage. I mean, double bladed, that was fine and believable. But the two small beams...that's just pointless and dangerous.

And I believe it will be a main character, he's not an actual Storm Trooper. Because they STILL used the clones. I may be wrong, but I do not recall seeing them say they stopped using the clones during that era. The only time they were seen without helmets on was in the prequels, in which we saw they were clones. (Jango Fett) In the cloning facility that Obi Wan visited, during the battle with General Grievous, etc. One was never seen without a helmet/suit on during episodes 4,5, and 6. Regardless, I hope J J Abrams didn't screw this up too badly. I LOVE this universe and would hate to see it destroyed.

for the jrassic park one.

cool that they finaly acknodlge the water park part they had on the island the whole time as whell as the dino in it.

a cuple parts looked for a lack of the better word "cheesy"

I don't like them going with the genetic hybrid as the main bad guy. if you played the game from talltail. there was aculty already an insanely smart and deadly dinosaur that's aculty a real dinosaur on the island that was far scaryer then the raptors. the raptors where scared of these things even.
they could have easly gone with that and how they stayed low key until ready to strike kinda thing. but noooooooo they have to go cra cra and do some kinda insane deus ex machance like hybrid.........

from the looks of it they spliced a t-rex with the raptors...........calling it now XD (theres already a real life "raptor" that was the size of a t-rex.....why they felt the need to splice one)

also the part with the raptors coming out of the cages like they where racing the guy? and they completely ignore the guy on the atv??

idk I hope the next trailor for it is better........ :O!

also no grant no jarrasic park :O!

don't remember any empire storm troopers out of their armor in episodes 4-6, and im pretty sure they mentioned at some point that they had recruiting stations throught the galaxy.

I'm pretty sure the light has no weight, so the two blades would do nothing but potentially hurt the user.

watch the trailor agaiun, there is enough of the metal part coming out still that if his hands slide up they are not gona tuch the light sabor part.

I don't think the dinosaur hybrid will be the main baddie of the movie. I think the evil corporation will be the big bad, because this is what we know about the movie universe(the books were the real Jurassic park, and no movie has come close to those 2 books):

1. They are genetically engineering dangerous and uber deadly hybrids

2. They are training raptors like attack dogs(Chris pratts character is supposed to be a dinosaur trainer so I'm guessing that's what's going on in the scene you were complaining about)

3. They somehow got this park to open after the events of the last 3 films.

so at some point the big corporation with lots of money and dangerous hybrid and normal trained dinosaurs has to cover up what went on at their theme park, and I think that will probably be the main conflict in the film.

don't remember any empire storm troopers out of their armor in episodes 4-6, and im pretty sure they mentioned at some point that they had recruiting stations throught the galaxy.

Agy: first part, not in 4-6 no, but in the zillions of cartoons and stuff that exsists between them that helps fill the insane gap of story they are out all the time.
for the 2nd part I have no knoldge of that and if you could find where they say it I would like to see it ^_^

I'm pretty sure the light has no weight, so the two blades would do nothing but potentially hurt the user.

Agy: and that sith form the first movie, his duble light sabor was just fine right? and grevues using 4x light sabors was fien too right?
the metal and the cryistals inside (are they still using cryistals to focues the force into to create the blade??) weigh stuff. the things shooting out are the equivalent to a real swrods handsguards (or what ever there thencical name are). and make just fine sense to me. ^_^

I LOVE this universe and would hate to see it destroyed.

due to the clones accelerated life cycle, they would have died in the 30 years between the prequels and a new hope. And since I'm pretty sure the clone facilities was destroyed at some point, all storm troopers in 4-6 are either normal humans or clones of someone else. I remember seeing somewhere that they had recruiting stations across the galaxy, but since all the EU material was called out as non cannon there is a small chance that that may have changed

I don't think the dinosaur hybrid will be the main baddie of the movie. I think the evil corporation will be the big bad, because this is what we know about the movie universe(the books were the real Jurassic park, and no movie has come close to those 2 books):

Agy: (rolls eyes) get out of here "comrade" ;D

1. They are genetically engineering dangerous and uber deadly hybrids

Agy: per book or your guess??

2. They are training raptors like attack dogs(Chris pratts character is supposed to be a dinosaur trainer so I'm guessing that's what's going on in the scene you were complaining about)

Agy: that makes sense now, I think around here somewhere we had some jarrasic park comics and that was the story lien to them, that the company was training them to be attack dog like. in the comics the hunter who they made it look like he got killed by the female raptor was alive still in it. forget how he got out of it he said. I think he was saved by other hunters the company sent (loosely makes sense if you playe the game).

3. They somehow got this park to open after the events of the last 3 films.

Agy: behold the power of lawyers. also in the first movie who really died? that one worker who was a black guy (and by movie law that means hes not even human), numan who was a jerk face, a lawyer (whos gona miss a laywer?), the black guy ( hes black need I say more?), the hunter (a wild and crazy no ties to the real world guy........who depending on who you talk to lives any way).

2nd movie didn't even take place on the original island so no issues there. t-rex in a major city? no just bad cocain every one look the other way.

3rd movie no one important dies or needs to know of.

so its kinda believable. ^_^

so at some point the big corporation with lots of money and dangerous hybrid and normal trained dinosaurs has to cover up what went on at their theme park, and I think that will probably be the main conflict in the film.

Agy: for the first movie the simple idea of the dinos was the main threat.
for the 2nd the t-rex was the main threat followed by the raptors.
for the 3rd movie the raptors where the main threat.

so I under stand they need to do something different. an again kudos to them for fianly admitting the water park is there.
but I really feel like they had no need to do the hybrid thing, at lest not yet, would be fine for something not set in the main park. but for the main park they could have used those super smart dangress dinos form the game (that are real dinos to boot).
but again hopfuly there will be another trailor ^_^

I just don't see the idea behind them destrying the cloning facilty.

as of the 3rd movie they were all under the empires control any way and didn't mention being destroyed. so it doesint make any sense to me for them to destry there soruce of newly controlerd troops.

never seen the EU stuff. is that where they mention the recruiting stations??

there were two books by Michael Crichton. Good writer, he also helped produce the first movie. That one was about 70% faithful to the book. The second movie was about 3% faithful to the book(a few of the characters had the same names), and there was no 3rd book.

the corporation thing is mostly just guessing from what we know, but it makes sense to me. Especially since you don't just "accidentally" let a dangerous hybrid Dino out of its cage. They could be testing its ability to kill larges amounts of people. Weapons of mass destruction seem to be a big things now in movies, be it nukes, super viruses, or geneticly modified dinosaurs in this case. After all we've been show this is the best guess I could come up with.

the EU(expanded universe) was every game, tv show, book and comic except for the ones on right now. It is all considered non canon, existing in its own "legends" universe. And I could have sworn they destroyed it in 3? I only saw the movie twice and haven't seen it in years so I could be wrong about that too. But the jango batch of clones is probably dead at this point

Edit:
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Stormtrooper
turns out I was wrong, the facilities weren't destroyed. But Jango fetts clones were phased out as they started to use other "templates" for clones and recruiting non clones.

it looks like them not using the feet clones any more was from a single video game battlefront 2. woudlent that be part of the EU and not be cannon then?

all of the clones being clones of jango fett came from star wars: bounty hunter(although they may have explained it in the films), so I guess that's non canon too

anyway, its hard to be sure of anything since there is so much to the universe, and they just took 80% of the universe and said it may or may not apply to the movies anymore

I'm an old school Star Wars fan, you kids are way over thinking what's in a short teaser trailer... We don't know who the guy in the Storm Trooper armor is.. remember when Luke wore the armor in the first Movie? We don't know the purpose of the hilt on the sword.. Sith Sabers tend to have a bit more flair to them then Jedi...Something from Wookiepedia however..

Sith lightsabers almost always utilized Synthetic lightsaber crystals as opposed to the natural crystals favored by the Jedi, a fact they considered to be a mark of superiority. Also, most Sith weapons featured an overall more aggressive design aesthetic. One of the variations on typical Sith lightsabers was the double-bladed lightsaber. Being of Sith design, these staff-weapons were sometimes referred to as Sith lightsabers, though were not to be confused with the genuine article.

The design of these weapons changed greatly over the centuries since the founding of the Sith, sometimes featuring a standardized mold, other times being designed by individual wielders. Despite this evolution, they were almost always distinguished by their scarlet bloodshine blades, a result of the red coloration usually taken on by synth-crystals. Ultimately, the Sith wielded these weapons to mock the Jedi, a trait demonstrated by the regularly greater combat effectiveness the aggressive Sith Lords possessed.

this is really cool, but as stated before it is no longer considered cannon. I'm hoping that concepts like that will carry over, but it is possible that they could completely screw with the way the light sabers are supposed to work since it was never explained in the movies

Not so fast, haters.
Self-proclaimed "Star Wars" fanatic Stephen Colbert is upset by all the flak the new lightsaber is receiving. So he elaborately broke down (http://www.hulu.com/watch/720822?playlist_id=1031) on "The Colbert Report" why the new lightsaber was a "perfect" design.

Colbert explains:
Sadly, there are some stuck-up, half-witted, scruffy-looking nerf-herders out there who aren’t thrilled with the new Jedi weapon. They say if these things are supposed to protect your hands like sword hilts, it wouldn’t work because the first time you cross lightsabers and it slid down to the bottom of the blade your opponent’s lightsaber would chop through the little side sabers and take off your hand.

They don’t start where the little metal hilt ends, OK? They're attached to the other beam inside. The metal hilts are just casings around the little beams to protect your hand. also new bond movie, "SPECTRE" comes out dec 2015 (target date, not set in stone).

still has dainal craig as bond (my 2nd fav bond ever).

harks back to the 60's. the evil organization "SPECTRE" is back (from Thunderball). bond has to battle them, as the new M battles enenys on the hoem front, trying to justifife the exsistince of MI6 to the sissy burocrats.

cant wait! ^_^

suspsidly it was in the plans for a very long time. but due to copy right issues. and who owns the rights to what. it was pushed back till now.

I was actually pretty disappointed in the last James Bond movie. It was the first they made based off an original story and not one of Ian Fleming's and I think it showed.. didn't feel like James Bond at all. If the next is the same, I'll probably skip it.

I'm actually kinda over the Terminator in present time movies as well.. how many times do they need to send some robot to the past to kill someone's mom... or kid? Enough already.. show us the big war in the future and stop focusing on the present time period... "I'll be back.. to rehash my old role".. ugh.

that would exspalin its mehness XD ^_^. it wasitn bad, but it sure wasint the other ones.

I forget why, but somehow they are rebooting the series. somehow they are saying time lien is all messed up and blah.

it worked amazingly well for star trek. I don't know that it can work so well for terminator.

they tried the whole future war storyline in salvation... It was just kinda meh..

they need to do a hard reboot of the series, or just stop making them. Because the whole "must kill John carter" thing is getting really old

I hate it when movies do that avocado. One of my biggest problems with the new terminator is that we are getting Arnold back. Why? He can barely act anymore and it seems useless to have him back instead of a new actor like everyone else in the movie. Cg Arnold was more convincing than actual Arnold in the trailer.

and the same thing goes for the new star wars. I don't understand why mark hamil has to come back. He's done a great job voice acting, especially for joker. But I don't see the whole "let's get the guy from 40 years ago to play a lead" logic.

I didn't read all 5 pages. but the 2 main issues seem to be the jew incident, and the secret recording.

for th ejew incaidnt, th eman has a drinking problem, lots of people do. I am not gona fault him for that.

for the secret recording, that was a secret recording and I blame the woman for that. she knew exsactly how to push his buttions and used it to her advantage to tape him.

terminator is a different story. since anrold wasint the "main" charictor in #1 and salvation. I am fine with him not being in it, him being in it Is fine too.

idk who mark hamil is, so I cant comment on that one ^_^

so luke is the main charictor in the new movie?

this just shows more so that we needed shadows of the empire first. XD

reading more about the new alien movie.............aparintly (not confirmed yet). they are going with the idea that #3 and resurrection never happened. instead that they where simply hyper sleep nightmares riply had.

the reason for this (besides the fact they craped all over the comics by making 3 and resucrection). is they are brining hicks back and possably nuet. (hicks is very much alive in both cm and in the comics. newt was still very much alive in the comics as well).

I hope if they do this they go about the comics ruote. but my guess is they wont as the comcis take place some 20 years latter after #2. and riply is no where to be found (that I can remember, it has been a long time). and riply is gona be the star of it so idk how they are gona do that.

They've gotten incredibly lazy these days.. just swapping out gender or race and remaking the same films from 20-30 years ago... lazy. I see far better Indie films these days than the run of the mill $#17 from Hollyweird.

Who knows, we could always get a good movie out of it. So long as they don't try to gimmick the hell out of it. One of my favorite movies of last year was planet of the apes, an example of what happens when you respect the material instead of screwing with it to make a quick buck.
