More Creatures


This mod adds 13 new mobs and 4 new items

Mobs
Spoiler for Hidden Content:

Crab
A crab, what else can I say? It's a passive mob, not dangerous but beware of its claws






CrabS
A smaller version of the crab, faster but weaker






Snake
The snake is a passive mob that attacks when it feels in danger.






Ant
Little insect that wanders around in search for food.






Turtle
With its shell, the turtle it's very defensive. It is very slow and when it bites.... Well, you're gonna find out  :P






Bunny
The bunny jumps around. Happily. When it feels in danger, he runs.






Mouse
Very fast mob. Attacks with its mouth rapidily

Worm
Not much to say. Very slow and wanders around






Bone
A mob/item that you can pick up by killing it.






Coal
A mob/item that you can pick up by killing it.






Creeper
You know it, lol. (It doesn't blow up because I don't know how to put script on mods. Make a script, for now, called "explode" with Explosion [prel:0,0,0] and the Creeper will blow up)

Raffaello
He is one of the Ninja Turtles. Very strong. If I was you, I won't mess around with him.






Pigeon
A bird. It flies (wow genius). It's very weak.

I've noticed that if you do not save the component of model of your mod facing South as suggested, it will not walk directly forward - Talking about the Crab.

Just save the Crab component facing East of West. Should fix it.

1. Snake egg - Can't make mobs drop modded items at the moment. I'll add it and once I can, it'll drop the egg

Mobs:
1. Squirrel - Yeah nice. Going to do it next update

Extras:
1. Re-texture the turtle. I've already tried making a design on it's shell but failed misery.
Gonna try again
2. Re-animate the crab? Yeah but I think I can't with XML at the moment. Maybe with behaviours? Gonna look

Here's some ideas for the mod:

Items:
1. Snake egg - Dropped from - you guessed it - the snake.

Mobs:
1. Squirrel - Drops an acorn

Extras:
1. Re-texture the turtle. I noticed the turtle shell has a design on the shell, but the turtle mob's shell is basic green, with no design.
2. Re-animate the crab? The crab walks in a forward line. From what I've seen in games/movies a crab walks sideways. (I've never seen a crab in real life)

Ok i get it

You are using the old menu. Use the new one and the mobs should be in the ncp spawner  ;)

Nope don't add it

Redownload my mod and put it on your mods folder

If that doesn't work then make some screenshots (press f12 in game to make screenshots)
of your world settings

active mods

and your mods folder in Documents/My Games/TotalMiner/Mods

Gonna look at your screenshots to see if there are any problems there

@Spark ok so I found the Game Ini and it only contains this

DisplayWidth=1280
DisplayHeight=720
OldMenu=True
FullScreen=False

For the other thing, u said I am confused about what you're trying to say. Do i add the line: SaveRoot=D:GameSavesTotalMiner

@007gadgetcookie Mmmh... Lemme think.

Open your game.ini file (C:Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Total Miner) and see if you have put this string (SaveRoot=D:GameSavesTotalMiner) or something similiar into the file

If there's not that string then Redownload my mod again, look if there are the xml files in there and put it in the mods folder

Start Total Miner and Make sure you have activated the mod

If this doesn't work then send some screenshots and I will look them

Make sure you have put my mod into Documents/My Games/TotalMiner/Mods


Make sure you have activated the mod on the Manage Mods on the main menu or in the Active Mods menu when starting a world


All the mobs in this mod are after the Testerman. Make sure you have scrolled down

For some reason I cant see the mobs in the spawner list, it may be a bug or a problem that I have done, please help me. The files have been moved to the mods folder but the mobs aint in-game (And yes I've activated them) Please Help Me.

@IGamingMonsterI
The ms-dos file are components. You can make them in game and put them in the mod folder

If you still don't how to make mobs, open all the Actor.xml file on my mod folder and look at the code.

If you need more help with modding, the discord server (here) has a Modding channel where people can help you.

How do you create the ms-dos files for the creatures?
I know how to make items and have made some cool things but I don't know how to create a mob
