Modern Home Components
« on: March 23, 2014, 10:41:07 PM »
Hey everyone. I've recently started working on some modern house designs that will go into a component pack for public use!

Each of these houses are meant to be capable of being pasted on uneven terrain such as cliffs and rolling hills. Just line up the driveways with the rest of the land, and extend the foundations when needed.

Every house is a plain colour palette of Tuff, Grey, and Dark Grey. This is so you can easily re-colour the houses as you see fit :D

The interiors of the house are mostly empty besides flooring and ceilings, leaving plenty of room for custom interior layouts and rooms!

Here are a few that I have finished so far!

Interesting designs. It's a good start. Perhaps some interior pics as well so we can see the floor plan?

Pretty Nice Work! I've built some modern houses, maybe some can contain some white color and also Sandbrick works well. Its also nice to have some bushes made of maple Leaves or atleast it looks nice that way

Not sure if this would help or not Trub. But if you need a few pics for inspiration I have some here in this thread.

You can look at the way the house was designed and make use of certain features when creating a new house. It's good to think up of a defining feature for a home and then build around it. For example, the mansion's tower skylights. Those are a great addition for any house and are easy to build around. Not to mention they are real simple to build.

I usually think of one thing I want from each house and work around that idea. I'll take a further look at your mansion (very nice by the way)! Also, I may be able to get some floorplan pictures tonight.

Here are some interior photos :D

Spoiler for Hidden Content:

Quite white and don't have much furniture. I'm sure this is being work on or maybe as separate components? Whatever the case is, looks great.
