((OOC: I've had a lot of the recent story posts, and a lot of the story posts in general. I've also been sort of carrying the time keeping as far as events go. I was kind of hoping someone else would take the lead on tying events together and such. I wanted to work off something else with these new characters.))

  I'm having a little trouble understanding the scripts involved in total miner forge. I'm creating a realistic world and I have ideas of scrips I would like to incorporate into the world itself. Could you help me? Here are some ideas id like. Id like a script that a player can open and close a bank account from an NPC player however they please. Id like a separate NPC player to ask if the player wants to deposit money into there account as well as a separate NVP player to do the opposite, withdraw! Id also like an ATM where they can do both deposits and withdraws buy a push of one button. On the other hand id like a script where a player can buy a home/apartment and be able to sell if they choose to. id like a script that can jail somebody if they do something illegal in the world. last but not least id like a script that a player can go to the store and buy an item, as well as they can go to a store and return it for there money back.

Hi everyone.

Here is the current situation.

The pressure to release a perfect port to Steam PC in order to attract a good number of initial sales has caused me too much stress and taken all the enjoyment out of working on this game.

So what I am going to do is this: I will work on the game for the next 2 weeks to try and remove as many bugs as possible and make it as stable as possible. I will then release the game on Steam as early access, with whatever warts remain.

There will be no multiplayer in this initial release.

Sales will be what they are, probably not great. I am not going to care about sales. If the game fails to sell, that is ok, at least you guys will have something to play.

Once it is released I will work to fix bugs and implement multiplayer. That is the very least I want to complete.

Regarding release on consoles and other platforms, that is reliant on me porting the game code from XNA to Monogame. It is also necessary to exploit 64bit on PC. I do not know if this will happen. But if I finish the multiplayer on PC and the player base is ok, and I'm still enjoying the work, I will do it.

Once again, sorry for the delays and lack of communication regarding progress. The reason is basically there hasn't been much progress. Hopefully the plan above will rectify this.

Hi. I've recently had the strong urge to play Total Miner 1.7. If anyone has a TM 1.7/1.6/1.5 still on an xbox, untouched, please hit me up with your Skype, Discord, etc name so I can contact you. It will help keep the community content while they wait for the PC release also?

So to sum it up: Who here has the lowest version of TM 360 anywhere?

It's not dead. People are just waiting for PC to release. Players will flood back once PC is released.

A - any changes to the XBLIG market place are now impossible, so any ideas or concepts involving the 360 version of the game will not happen.

B - custom skins and mods have been an idea and concept for quite some time now, and i do believe in one of the later updates, after the initial PC release will include custom skins.

C - abilities for all skins is an interesting concept, but also doubtful since it would certainly make some skins OP. unless it was able to be controlled by the world host, I doubt it would happen. Also health or armor based things depend on if the world is creative, dig deep, survival/ what difficulty level the game itself would be on.
