What is the bug? Yeah you still have a long time so you can build, upgrade buildings, e.c.t

The bug is to do with the block Id's to show which why a sign or button etc faces. Normally it's something like 38 but for some reason it's now in the hundreds. So they're being placed in the wrong place.

i agree make a stock market, shouldnt be too hard, if you want that full economy feel, also another suggestion, add player owned shops, you can possibly do this with scripts but maybe mods, have a menu, they type in the item, price, and put it up for sale, its connected to a chest so they stock it up themselves

Player owned shops are a thing but it's through item and block shops. It'd be too complex for me to do script based shops. I'm willing to try but don't expect anything, same with stock market and custom priced houses.

It's all too complex for me.

I mean, you have time to make the script.

I know but I have other ideas that I'm prioritising like actually finishing the JG scripts. Also I can't do any house scripts until the bug is fixed.

Hence why I'm building loads of stuff.

It's crazy how far this map has gone, almost 3 years, That is crazy and I think one of your longest maps. any news on the automatic house selling system?

It's crazy how big this maps got. I remember when I used to give up on maps after a few months so it's practically a miracle that we've got this far to be honest. We're coming up on 1,000 days since the map was started very very soon.

Nothing yet on the house front as I've noticed a bug with the current house scripts which is a bit of a pain at the moment.

Big up all the fans and those who have supported Huttondale over the years. Let's make it even better, together :D

Huttondale Monthly Update - February 2019

Howdy Folks!

Welcome to February's update for Huttondale. After last month's not feeling like doing anything phase, I am back adding loads of cool new buildings for you to visit when MP is released! Let's just jump into it!

Huttondale Additions - February

February 16th: I rebuilt the Pilley Bridge which in my opinion turned out so much better than the original. I also refurbished the Rockford Mine.

February 27th: I made loads of changes to Acaster on this day. These include new apartments, finishing Gord's house and rebuilding a house I first built in 2014. This version is so much better than the original!

There's loads more updated photos in the original post so be sure to go have a look :). That's all for now but I'll see you next month! Suggestions for Huttondale welcomed as always. TTFN /onion

Huttondale Monthly Update - January 2019

Howdy Folks!

Welcome to the first Huttondale update of 2019, hopefully this is the year multiplayer actually comes out. I really hope so because it gives me an incentive to add more to the map. Lately I just haven't been that interested in adding anything, anyway here's what I did do:

Huttondale Additions - January

January 2nd: Added these new houses in Wearside Village.

January 4th: Rebuit the Hill Top digging mine.

January 5th: Built Malice Park.

January 6th: Built Huttondale sign and new Hutton Wholesalers which will be a job.

Stock market?...

Maybe in the future, it's low on my list of things to add to Huttondale at the moment though. There's quite a lot on that list to be honest.

That's all for now, see you next month! Suggestions for Huttondale welcomed as always. TTFN /onion

Like Nefty, I grew up with TM. It sparked an interest in architecture that I didn't even know I had. I met some great people along the way (Gord!) and in some respects it's kept me interested in my lifelong goal of running JG. I honestly don't care for any of the shooting arrows at wolfs malarkey. All I'm interested in is building maps that, if it actually existed, would be somewhere I'd live.

As for hosting, it's been great meeting loads of folk and if anything, it's made me a bit more confident. I wouldn't have dared say a word to someone on an Xbox live party back in 2014 if I didn't know them but now me and Gord send each other birthday and Xmas gifts lol

Yes, it's a shame seeing 90% of the well known players on here gone (GK, Dryym, my best mate Fuertey, Swift, Jeff, Zoid - I could go on. I don't like been told the game is dead because to me, there's still some life in it. At least I hope it is or Huttondale is a waste of time XD

And also, without TM the highly successful Dig Deeper channel wouldn't exist.

Looking forward to updates from my main man Craig and hopefully, 2029 is the year TM makes a comeback. And remember, TM and Craig go together like Jam and Bread  ;)

Huttondale Monthly Update - December 2018

Howdy Folks!

Firstly, merry christmas and a happy new year to everyone! This month I've added a fair few things, such as the following:

Huttondale Additions - December
December 3rd: New houses added to Acaster village. I also did some landscaping in Everdale & Wearside.
December 4th: Rebuit the hill between Everdale and Wearside and demolished a few houses that got in the way.
December 5th: I reached 1,000 hours spent on TM PC, built a road between Acaster and Wearside (via Malice), added some new building areas along this road, added a new direct path from Hill Top to Wearside, added a few more cottages in Old Wearside, demolished a few more houses to top it off.
December 9th: Built Brafferton village between Malice and Wearside, on the new road.
December 18th: Built a new shop at JG Treeton Bridge. I'm not sure what it is going to sell yet haha.

Hope you all have a lovely festive period and I'll see you in 2019! Suggestions for Huttondale welcomed as always. TTFN /onion
