Bug Reports [Retail] / New/Old menu

It seems to be that once you switch to the old menu, you can't permanently have the new menu. Pressing Esc (for me at least) opens the up the old menu.  When I click to select thew new menu, I will have it.  When I press Esc again, I will have the old menu, instead of the new menu.

Edit* Nevermind. Found out if you go to game options you can change it.

Funny bug tbh because I now have ghosts :p  I also went ahead and changed the NPC, which resulted in ghost NPCs.

Edit* I should note that this happens when I use view relative.

Can I make a portal like the nether in MC.

Can I change the furnace so every thing is set to a fixed time + editing fuel time on coal/lava whatever I want. (I want difference furnaces that can smelt stuff quicker or even give more output.)

Can I edit skills and their formulas.

Can I make objects that I put blocks in and that object does stuff with the block.

Can I make tools that can mine more than 1 block. 1x3, 1x5, 2x5, etc.

Probably the most important ones I have ;s

Yes, you heard me, a deathmine. There will be none better than this deathmine, because it is mine.  My deathmine is always the best, and you can't tell me otherwise, because I told you it is the best.  Now what do I plan to include you may ask?  Very simple,  mines, and mines, and mines, and like I said, mines.  Unlike the rest of you amateurs and your poopy deathmatches, mine is going to be all out and great.  You get to start off in that great good old block mine where you will mine some $$$$ ores.  Hit the bottom? BOOM YOU UNLOCKED A SHOP.  This shop sells some better stuff that is crafted by players just like you.  Are you bored of mining and want to continue? Well, you are in luck my sir or madam.  You can take your stupid self into the cave and fight off some enemies.  What's that?  There is a stupid wall that is keeping you from moving?  Well, you are unintelligent because that is a whole new mine.  Can't enter?  Looks like you are out of luck, because you are going to have to meet the mine requirements.  Maybe your mining isn't high enough, you need to complete some stupid quest, or you just haven't killed enough of a certain enemy.  Looks like capitalism won't save you today, now will it.

Do you hate mining?  Welcome to the open green grass of the open world.  Actually, I lied because there will be more than grass.  Fire, Snow, Desert, Tree, Other stuff that will keep you exploring the map.  We all like open worlds so come get them while they last and make sure to get your ice ring to rekt some noobs.  What sucks for all of you is that some mines will require you to explore the outside world.  Luckily these aren't need to progress, but there are side-mines that can offer some quality ore at an easier point.


Disclaimer: Ice rings aren't going to exist.

Health [Player] [Cap]

Health [Player] [Cap] [Add/Subtract]

This script will set a new cap for a player's health. For example, Health [Player] [500] would set the player's health cap to 500.  The second one is pretty self explanatory, which this can be greatly used for health perks, extra lives, or whatever you want to do.

Another add on to the item stats script is a power script.  In case you are lost, (unless I forgot TM completely ;s) the power determines what and how fast your tool can mine a block. (Also factoring in the block resistance .-.)

As far as I understand, the variable script should choose a random number between 1-3. ( Hopefully it is not including decimals... ) The script works perfectly, but sometimes, the script will not give an apple.

Your world / [RPG] The Caverns

This was a map that I started back in December of 2014 and it ended in January 2015. The map was fairly small, so players didn't have much to do, however the map managed to be a big hit. Someone here might remember The Caverns, but for those who don't know about the map, I will give a brief explanation.

The caverns is giant cave system that is full of enemies and ores. The player starts by grinding in one area, and they start moving their way up to fight different enemies. The further you go, enemies will get harder, and ores will get better. Along the way, you will also find shops, quests, dungeons, treasure rooms, etc. to help further your expedition. The player also has a choice from 4 different classes which all have their own unique abilities and weapons.

I will not try to use mods for this map, so everyone has a fair useage to the map.

I am going to need a few decisions, so here is where you all come in handy.

What size should the cave be? Small, medium, large.

What kind of areas should I add?
My current list of ideas are normal cavern, undead cavern, jungle cavern, heaven, hell, and troll caverns.
I am already thinking of making some areas mostly water.

What kind of side things should I add?
I currently have shops, dungeons, and treasure rooms.

Should I add more classes?

Should I add in a storyline?

If anything else doesn't fit in these categories go ahead and feel free to post them :)

Currently I cannot not think of a name for my map so I Will just keep the title as My World :s

Like most maps on TM it is a deathmatch ( or a deathmine as some call it ) so you can get an idea on what the map will have. In addition to this here are some things that will be added to the map.


Mobs- Eventually I will add in an area where you can fight mobs and rank up. Ranking up will allow you to go to new areas and fight stronger mobs and will allow you to do things like enter certain mines. With leveling you can go claim rewards to help you progress faster and it might even make you feel better about yourself. As of now this is all I have down for this and as of this post I might add it to where you cannot enter with items and you have a new "preset" character when entering this area.

Drop parties/Mine parties- Every deathmatch has these and usually they happen when a certain amount of rates are reached. I myself might do this but along with it there are different ways to trigger them.
1. When a certain amount of players are in the world one of the two have a chance to go off.
2. Players can pay certain blocks to trigger a specific party. The better the block the higher chance of a better party.
3. Special occasion/when I feel like it.
Unique thing about these parties is that they will work on their own. With the drop party items will self drop and there will be many different combinations and different DP tiers.

Clans- Like mobs and the drop/mine parties this will come later ( Probably in December ). Clans are free to start but they require certain things like play time, level,etc. When you start a clan you do not get anything really special aside from the fact you can recruit others now. When a clan hits a certain amount of players the clan can buy a base ( Just a big wall. ) Inside the wall there are many different things that can be unlocked ( will add crafting requirements ) and help you and your clan progress faster. If you ever played a game like "Clash of Clans" there will be a town hall. For the town hall you can level it by donating gold pieces, and each time you pass the requirement your clan gains one level. Clan level will determine what your clan can buy and what can be improved.

Events- I will add events that happen during certain parts of the year. In an event you can take advantage of it to help you make more money. Each event will try to be unique from another so its not the same thing every event but with a "reskin" Currently there will be a Halloween event held on October 13th-Nov 2nd. During this event you collect orange pumpkins, black pumpkins, silver pumpkins, and gold pumpkins. You get a pumpkin every 10 seconds and they are all luck based. Pumpkins can be used to special pumpkin upgrades, tools/weapons/keys, and buy special particles. Any particle you buy will be kept all year long and cannot be bought anytime around the year so act fast while you can !.

With all of this here are some other things I have in mind for the map.
Farming/Alchemy
Self running marketplace ( not sure if possible )
Guns/Magic
Gambling
Investment system
Much more !

Total Miner Discussion / [Creative] Building Stress.

Recently I have been having so much stress when it comes to building. Last time I hosted was in February of this year and I got membership back in the beginning of August yet since then I have not hosted one map. My problem is not so much of me wanting to host but me getting screwed over. I have worked on about 10 different maps now and didn't like any of them ( with an exception of the caverns since I like the idea but cannot get good design for it ). Recently I worked on a new map that I liked so I continued with it. After I got some stuff done I went to go host the world online and worked on even more. When I finished I saved the world until I was onto the home page and decided to power off. I get online 3 hours later to find that my map for some reason didn't save and that my autosave did nothing ( I also check to see if it is on 5 minutes ) so I decided that I probably will just give up for some time. Just wondering though if anyone out there would be nice enough to help me rebuild/script in stuff that I lost and maybe help continue to work on the map to get me back on my feet.

This is my dig deep map I will be hosting either tomorrow or the day of 2.5 release. This map is here to get that special unlockable ( If possible to get ) that you have always wanted. Just to help you get started all new players to the map get 2 stacks of gold so you dont have to spend time getting money.

Note: You can get sage because only if you find the scroll then you get it counted and handyman is currently impossible to get due to troll chiefs not wanting to spawn.
