Has Total Miner died?
« on: November 06, 2017, 01:28:15 PM »
Hey guys, just checking by here after being inactive for some time. Basically I've been following total miner for a few years now and I have enjoyed growing with the game, but coming back to Xbox to find that Total Miner is no longer what it used to be. I just wanted to know if Total Miner is really dead and people have gotten tired of it, or is people just waiting on the PC Version. The reasoning behind this question is because the sheer fact that I got so much entertainment from playing with people from the community and I'd hate to see Total Miner die.

It goes without saying that Total Miner is not dead, it is being actively worked on. Most of the community is sorta in a hibernation status waiting for PC release, which if everything goes to plan should be before 2018. I'm sure most old fans check in from time to time, after release there should be a huge boost in activity, you will be seeing many new faces as well.

As soon as the PC version is released, I'm buying. This community won't die for a while, and when the PC version releases it will have a lot more players.

its like the 1.6 or the 1.8 updates. the long span updates, that take ages to come out force people away from the game. It's not dead, just a lul while waiting for the update. It also doesnt help that its on old consoles while most people have now moved onto the newer consoles.

Total Miner will live forever in my heart.

Until I die.

Then Total Miner will be dead too.

Yeah as Jet said, most of the community is just waiting for the game to release on PC. Same with myself.

I don't go on my 360 to host anymore simply because of the lack of players on the game right now, and because of the modders. However the modders have seemed to have gotten other hobbies now.

We just gotta be patient and wait  :)

Think 18 is bad? Wait until you're 10 years older than that.

Well now that you can't buy indie games it'll happen in the long run.
But being
not dead is good for now
