A there is a rule not to ask to be a tester/staff member.

B - being as this is your first ever post on the for us it is highly unlikely.

C - you need to have dedication, as well and proof of trustworthyness both on the forums and the game itself.

D - staff is an almost 100% no, tester is just as unlikely by this account

E - do you have proof of your staff and test in experience from Garry's mod "and others"

I don't even have it ready yet and you know what? I'm focusing on like 3 other big projects right now! Know that I don't devote all my time to Forgeplex!

OK so let me get tho straight. You've made an account named forgeplex and want people to be hyped about forgeplex, but can't even explain what forgeplex will be? And also with all that you say that forgeplex isn't even your main Map (despite every time I see you talking at all here its about this map)

I'm not asking what is complete, or what is on the map. I'm simply trying to ask you to tell people what this WILL EVENTUALLY BE.

Do you even know yourself what you plan to do with the map? That is all people are asking for. Basic information on what we can look forward to eventually seeing. I'm trying to help you, but you just avoid every question asked.

Just answer this one question please: what is forgeplex/what will it be?

Already said it before, I don't have anything ready! Also scripts are giving me a lot of trouble where when I press one button it just continually does it.

Yes. The Map may not be ready but your ideas for the Map are there correct?
When I made Communicraft for example there was nothing on the Map, but people knew it was going to be a community build map, with different sections for different builds.

We arent asking for much here dude, just what the map will be about, yet from the countless times people have asked you, you refuse to answer. So good luck with what ever this is, and since you can't be bothered to slightly explain just a simple premis of the map, or what it will be, I have lost any interest. Have fun with whatever this is!

alright, since you stated in the shout box that everyone seems to "hate" forgeplex, I'll give you a few tips.

A: stop the spamming of pointless information that have to be cleaned up by moderation.
B: Give. Us. Information.
C: if you don't know what information to give read my pinned topic at the start of the your world section.
D: assuming this is a community based world, I have quite the experience in that category. You need to give people a reason to join your Map, not just "HEY IM BACK, COME VISOT THIS MAP THAT I ASSUME YOU KNOW ABOUT" when quite literally no one knows about.
E: make you thread look nice

Very few people will care about a map if they have no idea what the map entails. Your issue is you're asking people to get excited about something they know nothing about.

It'd be like if I called my self Tim Horton's a d told everyone to get excited, but ended up being sad because no one knows the greatness of Timmie's.

Perhaps revamp the initial post? It is quite the large text block to read. So maybe add some spacing, or sectioning to the initial post?

This way if someone (such as myself) reads it for the first time, they arent reading a two year old thread.

Just an idea to potentially help the forums through the game.

So basically I was wondering if you could add a direct link (not just "visit us at this address") to the game?

I don't know how much this will help, but generally speaking people are quite lazy, and just seeing a link often does not mean they will take the time to type it in and visit the site.

So my idea is like this: add a tab to the game menu on the PC titled : Total Miner Forums. Within that tab could be relevant information about the forums (such as key/popular posts, contest information (since many people do not know that we have contests), and potentially benefits of being on the forum), as well as a direct hyperlink to the forums itself (if possible).

If not possible to have a direct link within the game, then simply creating the information tab so that people can see the benefits of joining the forums.

As for the actual blocking, the option does stop you from seeing their posts. You do not have to click "open message". It is totally up to you whether you choose to read said persons post or message.

Does no multiplayer also mean no world sharing or component packs?

Im not 100% certain, but given that there will be world transfers from Xbox, this means that the worlds are in a file. As such I would assume you can send that file to someone outside the game, and they would simply add it to their own resource files.

I.E. You send an email to someone with your map file, they add that map file to their own "maps" folder. (correct me if I'm wrong here guys).

As for in game sharing I can't say.
