Total Miner Discussion / [Game] Re: Is Total Miner dead in the water?
« on: August 16, 2017, 05:03:57 PM »
I hopped on earlier just to see what was up and who was hosting (I posted this about an hour after I was on the game) and there is still plenty of worlds being hosted.

Altogether there were 30 worlds being hosted which is a fair amount. Adding to this in each world, there was a minimum of at least 2-3 players in about 17/30 words that were being hosted at this time.

Yes the game is a little quiet right now, mainly because of people who have moved on from their 360 and switched over to the Xbox one or other consoles, and a lot of people are just simply waiting for the game to be released on PC.

Those are some nice tats you guys have Jack and Trub! I'm still debating weather to get a tattoo myself, something to do with family. I'm not too sure. Your guys ratios are really cool though!

I mean, you can't walk through a sign in real life so... that might be the reason. However it's good for parkour so I'm happy the way it is.

It's not the worst thing i've seen Total Miner avatars doing to each other.

That's why I said barring community content. I was there with Trub on Mysterio's world.

Nah that was child play compared to newer stuff . . .

I remember you showing me that creation. I laughed a lot...

Total Miner Discussion / [Game] Re: Modders that greif. Watch out.
« on: July 25, 2017, 03:08:26 PM »
The only thing you can do is to create a copy of your world that you are working on, and every so often save it so if a modder does join, you can exit without saving and work on the other copy. Simply do that back and forth. It can be annoying but it can help.

The other option is to simply host it offline or invite only. I know most people like to host their maps online to show them off, but we can't do that now without the chance of our maps being modded and ruined.

Could you not simply make a zone for a certain part of the map and in that zone, make a script so that you cannot take any damage?

Total Miner Discussion / [Other] Re: Total Miner Community Club (Xbox One)
« on: July 12, 2017, 05:30:25 AM »
I really see no benefit to this whatsoever. There's already a discord channel, which is essentially the same thing but better in every way and with more features and accessibility(The application, not the actual channel. the channel is garbage). We don't need several different groups all dedicated to TM. After a certain point, it simply becomes annoying trying to keep up with several different sources of communication on top of the several hundred forms of social media we have now.

I just think it's handy for a game to have multiple ways and platforms to communicate with each other. For example the Rocket League and COD Zombies Xbox One Club that I'm a part of, they have a discord, forum, website, steam group, twitter and facebook that I'm a part of as well.

Some people might not have access to one platform, but have access to another platform.

Also, I'm quoting bob on this one: "There's tons of people that just don't use the forums, or twitter, or discord, or facebook, or any of the other stuff. It's not going to hurt anything by having the group available. People who don't want to join don't have to."

Total Miner Community Club for Xbox One!

As you all may know that soon enough Total Miner will be getting released on PC within the next few months, then to Xbox One and PS4 in the future. Jesse or YT Mysterio has created a club on Xbox One for the Total Miner Community!

It is a place where you can chat to other members, upload clips and photos of games out may be playing, or just a place to chill and get to know more about the game!

Simply go onto clubs on your Xbox One and search up "Total Miner" (it should be the only one to come up)

Or search for the gamertags: vJamiE xD, YT Mysterio or X B1ack W1dow X and we can send you an invite to the club! Or you can leave a post here with your gamertag and we will send you an invite if we are online.

Update: I got Sage, and every other unlockable except GK, im 250 rates away from the Demi's, they are surprisingly easy to get once you actually start trying.

They are pretty easy. It's just the amount of time it takes to actually get them. Because the game has died down a little, it will be hard for you to get the rates you need. You're close though so keep going!
