How do you spell "access" Jesse?

You've completely butchered the spelling and I don't know why I found this so funny.

Your world / West Wood City
« on: December 18, 2016, 06:30:53 AM »
Over the past few weeks I have been working on a city called West Wood. So far it mainly consists of high rise skyscrapers, a detailed intersection, lampposts and a few cars along the road.

I am starting off with the city centre and then I will be expanding my way outwards where I will then start to build houses and other buildings around the outskirts of the inner city.

I plan on making this city very detailed as Total Miner still mainly consists of mediocre deathmines. Most cities that you see mainly consists of straight roads and minor landscaping, but I plan on making curved roads and big mansions. Something that you don't see quite often (on this game)

I have even went as far as to plan my city layout on a piece of paper that I keep adding additions onto when I get the chance to.

At the time of this being posted, this is what I have built so far:

14 buildings altogether.
12 of them are modern designed skyscrapers.
1 of these buildings is a 5 story car park.
And the final building is them famous triangular building known as the 'Flatiron Building'
I still have to do all of the interiors for all of the buildings, but that's not my main priority at this moment.

I am going to build a few more skyscrapers and then I will move on to building, city houses and then eventually smaller shops and more!

In the future when Total Miner PC comes out. I am hoping to transfer this word over to PC where I can continue working on it.

Once I am happy with its progress and it is very detailed, I will probably make a copy of the world and make it into a 'hunger games' map where I am planning on doing giveaways. For example 10 or 25 steam cards, Xbox One gold memberships and PSN vouchers!

Just something I would like to give back to the community.

All I need now is for someone to come on and take some picture of my map (I'm looking at you Nazty ;)) and post them to this thread so I can physically show you guys my work on this city so far.

Thank you so much for reading!

Questions and Answers / Slabs and stairs.
« on: December 14, 2016, 02:41:37 PM »
I have a quick question about slabs and stairs on Total Miner PC (question is mainly aimed at Craig as its up to him to add this feature)

Quick question: Will slabs and stairs be changed PC when you place them?

What I mean is currently on Total Miner when you place slabs and stairs, it can be quite awkward to place them in the specific direction you want, example, when you want to place an upside-down stair, you have to put a block above that stair and place the stair on the underside of the block. This is really frustrating when building a house or building as you then have to go back and delete the blocks that you used in order to get the upside down stair.

I am just wondering will this be changed to act like Minecraft's slabs and stairs. On that game, you just have to look at the top half of a block and place the stair and it will automatically be placed upside down, same with slabs, which (in my opinion) is far better than what happens in Total Miner right now.

It is so handy and is really useful for us builders.

So overall, will this be a feature that could be added onto PC? I know this isn't a top priority but it is a really handy feature which should be implemented.

Thanks  ::)

Questions and Answers / [HELP] Signature question
« on: December 08, 2016, 05:59:48 AM »
I made myself a signature in Photoshop but I don't know how to upload it onto here and set it as my signature.

I made it so it is 599x 299x pixels so it will fit.
I also saved it as a JPEG and PSD.

If you could tell me it would be much appreciated!

Thanks!  ::)

Questions and Answers / Signature
« on: November 14, 2016, 12:19:38 PM »
I want to put a gif as my signature on my profile but I can't get it to work properly, it just shows the http// link and not the actual image itself.

It's probably really simple to do but I can't do it  :P

If someone could help me it would be much appreciated!

General Discussion / New Zealand Earthquake
« on: November 13, 2016, 11:56:51 AM »
I'm not sure how many of you guys watch the news, but just last night there was a 7.8 magnitude earthquake off the coast of one of New Zealand's South Island.

It triggered 3 large aftershocks and at least 3 tsunami waves.

It's very devastating and my thoughts and prayers go out to all of those who have been affected by this earthquake.

Gaming / Skyrim Special Edition Mods
« on: November 07, 2016, 09:10:30 AM »
So I will be getting Skyrim Special Edition in a few days or weeks for Xbox One.  Microsoft will allow Xbox One users to have external assets.  Which basically means that this will allow for more, bigger and better mods to be available to Xbox users.  They will be able to have almost all the mods that PC users can have.

However Sony will not allow external assets for PS4 users so they wont be able to have 10% of the mods that Xbox users will have.

I play on an Xbox One and I am just curious to know what types of mods you guys could recommend me when I get the game.

Thank you  ^-^

Your world / Space themed parkour map
« on: September 11, 2016, 11:28:38 AM »
Space themed parkour map!

I have started on a brand new project which is a space themed parkour map!

The objective of this map.

You have to jump from rock to rock across space and eventually you will start landing and all the planets in the solar system.  There are big gaps between the planets so the map will be big and it will take you a while to complete the whole map (it is still a work in progress).  Whenever you approach a certain planet or object in space, you will be notified with some facts and information about that certain object you are approaching.

Why I created this map.

I started this map because I love space and I have never seen or came across a space themed parkour map on this game.  I also want to try and educate the people of this game with some facts and the wonders of space!  As space is so interesting and more people should know about the pure awesomeness that is space!

I need help!

I need help with decorating the surroundings of the map, as of right now it is very plain and empty and I don't know what to fill the areas with, weather it be pixel art or spaceships and rockets!  If you have some rockets or pixel art you can paste along the paths of the map, I will give you credit and give your world a shoutout!  I also need help with creating checkpoints throughout the map.  For example, once you reach Mercury, I want a checkpoint to be there so if they accidently fall off once they pass Mercury, they wont be teleported right back to spawn.  They will, in-fact be teleported to their last saved checkpoint (there will be a checkpoint at every planet). If you could do this, it would be much appreciated!

(Also if you can, could you please post some pictures of my map to this topic.  It would ne much appreciated!)

More information.

The world was started on September 9th 2016.
I have currently built everything solo.
I am a huge space nerd  :D
You will be educated with space facts when you play this map.

Thank you :)

Total Miner Discussion / Ideas for a mega build
« on: September 10, 2016, 05:03:33 PM »
Currently I don't know what to build in this game.  I want to start something that will keep me going for a while, like a mega build.  Since the Demis were released and you need to place 50K blocks, I want to build something that will take a lot of blocks to build with, so it will help me get closer to placing 50K and perhaps mining 100K blocks.

Even if you guys post pictures of things that will keep me going for a while, that would help a lot more, it would be much appreciated!

Thanks :)

Questions and Answers / Unlocking Chef
« on: September 08, 2016, 04:49:44 PM »
As you all know by now that you need to unlock certain avatars to get the Demigods.  I have every single avatar needed except chef, however I cant get him on any of my digdeep worlds as the blueprint finder arrow won't update.  All I need to make is potato pie and cornbread to get chef but the potato and corn seeds are locked and the blueprint arrow wont update.  If anyone has a digdeep map with those 2 items unlocked, please message me on the forums or on Xbox.  It would be much appreciated :)

Thanks :)

Total Miner Discussion / Threatened over TM
« on: September 05, 2016, 03:47:56 PM »
So I was joining worlds earlier because I was bored and I stopped by this kids deathmine world (Not going to name his gamertag for obvious reasons)  I joined and instantly lagged out, and then I re-joined again.  And when I re-joined the host put me in ''jail'' and invited me to a party.
I joined the party and I said ''why did you put me in jail'' and he replied ''you were combat logging so I put you in jail.''  (The kid sounded about 8 years old)

I then replied saying ''I instantly lagged out of the game, re-joined and you stuck me in jail''

He then got all angry at me and threatened to remove all of my unlockables, delete my worlds and permanently ban me on Xbox Live...  That has got to be the funniest thing that I have heard in a while.  That is my little experience over, I hope you enjoyed reading it :)

General Discussion / Best childhood experience
« on: September 01, 2016, 05:11:33 PM »
Hey guys so I was talking with my friend who I have known all my life and we were talking about what great memories we had when we were younger and rebellious.  So I was just curious to see what great memories you guys have experienced and lived through as a kid.

One of my best childhood memories was when my dad bought me my first ever console when I was 6 years old, The PlayStation 1.  Ever since then I have been hooked on gaming and it has become a big part of my everyday life (it may sound sad but gaming for me is probably my favourite hobby).  I am now 17 and I still remember the day my dad walked into the room and handed me that console, we played on it for so many hours, every single day.

What are your guys best childhood memories or experiences?
I would love to know and I'm sure other forum members would love to hear them too! :D
