How did you get into Total Miner? What is your favorite memory of the game?

How did you get into Total Miner? What is your favorite memory of the game?

I always used to downloaded a bunch of random trials from the XBLIG market place just to see what kinda stuff was on there. One day I say Total Miner on there and I thought it looked cool (I didn't know about Minecraft at the time so it was my first experience with games like this) so I started the trial and I loved it despite almost having a heart attack when I first saw the spiders. That was back when the game was in 1.5 if I remember correctly and I didn't actually buy the game until 1.7.

My favorite memory of Total Miner is when me and my best friend at the time would go around world hopping together. We always ended up meeting a ton of cool people and I loved going around seeing all the challenge maps. Even though they were pretty basic and were practically all the same they had a certain charm to them.

I don't really have a favorite song as it tends to change a lot, but Winged Hussars by Sabaton is definitely one of my favorites

I'd say the forums felt a lot more lively back when I joined. I hope we start seeing new members that actually stick around.
