is a poll script possible?
« on: July 30, 2015, 09:29:38 PM »
the way i wanna have it is i wanna make a poll..or for a question..say like:   if i added local skills to my map would you still want or like it...or something

and then have a yes or no option.
then what i would hope to try and do is be able to display the number of votes for each one. or like 32 for yes and 10 for no or something...if you get my idea
but is it possible?idk what youd do for that or how you can make it tell or display how many votes each answer has

Vote/Yes

If
HasHistory [player] [Voted] [true]
Then
Notify [You have already voted] [local]
Else
History [Yes]
Notify [You have voted yes for ....] [local]
History [player] [Voted]

Vote/No

If
HasHistory [player] [Voted] [true]
Then
Notify [You have already voted] [local]
Else
History [No]
Notify [You have voted no for ....] [local]
History [player] [Voted]

To display the results you could use the [syshistory:key] text substitution. Like so:

Notify [[syshistory:Yes] players voted yes!] [global]

The [syshistory:Yes] would be replaced by the count of the system history 'Yes'.
