Your world / Marble: 4 Key Adevnture Quest
« Last post by The Map Cartographer on December 12, 2018, 02:59:27 AM »
Marble: 4 Key Adventure Quest is a simple adventure map where you need to gather 4 keys that are location in the different areas of this large world, are you up for that task?

This is my first map I will try to publish, this map was built on 360 and modified to suit the pc setup and updates.

What was changed?

-All Mobs had to be removed and redone, If you find a mob you cant kill, I may have missed some.

-Boss fights are bugged and had to be changed

-One new area was added.

-The design is less complex, tried fixing some stuff so people don't get lost.

You can add a teleport script that will teleport the player to another place once you kill a mob, that is not possible to do on the PC version of TM, please fix if possible.

If you enjoyed 360 total miner you will enjoy PC total miner as the mechanics work all the same just a few changes in the pause menus other then that a few new blocks and items and that's it. Only thing it is yet to get is multiplayer but that is in the works. And there are mod alternatives to actually get a form of multiplayer working.

Wow just checked in on this game,  played back in my middle school/early high school days. It really had was a huge part of my "childhood" and left a big impact on my life. I actually decided to pursue computer science because of how much I invested into the scripts. I did ditch CS because of bad teachers and boring classes but I still remained in science/engineering founded upon the creativity I fabricated, holstered , and built upon because of this game. I'm currently finishing my fall semester as a sophomore in mechanical engineering and I decided to boot up my old 360 and check some old but still great stuff out. Awesome to still see people online hosting maps, obviously not close to the greatness it truly was in it's prime but still managed to bring tears to my eyes reminiscing through my old maps. I just wanna thank Craig, the development team/admins, and the community as a whole for being such a great part of my life. TMF forever!

(Also curious to hear about PC edition, it's development activity/community and whether I should get it?)

I think TMs is an improvement over MCs movement and design overall, still find it weird how double jump is a natural ability still.
I prefer MC's movement over TM, but TM won on a lot of things. (Shops, Scripts, zones, currency, more blocks, e.c.t)
