Bug Reports [PC Beta] / Item Shop Bug
« Last post by ZadeKirian on Today at 12:24:43 PM »
Alright. So in the new open Beta version. I decided to start up a survival world. I was doing my own thing and then I got around 7k gold when I visited the item shop. Later I noticed that when I kept on selling things, my gold wouldn't increase. I sold my gold on accident (curiosity reasons) which also is probably a bug, and then I went to go see if I could get my gold back in the "Other" tab. When I right clicked I was able to get a full stack of 64K. I could keep doing this over and over. Again I was in a survival world. No creative or dig deep.

Yeah I bought the battle pass for Fortnite as well, glad to support the development team. Can't wait for controller support on mobile.

Currently have something like 20ish squad/duo wins under my belt.

We are trialing a PC Public Open Beta for testing Total Miner updates.

This means anyone who owns the game can help us test updates before they are released to the Retail version.

To access the Beta, right click Total Miner in your Steam library, select Properties, click the BETAS tab on the properties dialog, and select the beta_open - Public Beta 2.xx in the dropdown. No pass code is necessary.

This board is where you post bugs related to the changes made in the Beta version. General bugs which also occur in the retail version should be posted here

Your Retail version save files are stored in \Documents\My Games\TotalMiner
Beta version save files are stored in \Documents\My Games\TotalMinerBeta

You are free to copy world folders or files from your Retail save files to the Beta save files to help you test with your existing worlds, but you won't be able to copy them back to Retail once they have been saved in the Beta version. So make sure you COPY rather than MOVE files from Retail to Beta.

Thanks for your help. Any help with testing updates is greatly appreciated.
Questions and Answers / Re: Questions about making a texture pack.
« Last post by Craig on Today at 05:02:37 AM »
Hi apigonafarm

There's no direct support for adding full texture packs just yet. It will come soon, but in the mean time you can get on with making the textures.

There are two supported resolutions, SD and HD.

SD supports 16 x 16 pixels per block and 16 x 16 pixels per item.
HD supports 64 x 64 pixels per block and 32 x 32 pixels per item.

There may be just a simple xml file needed to define the texture pack. Like the Name, Resolution etc. But there won't be any requirement for elements for each block or item. I've yet to define this xml file but it will be explained when full texture pack support is released.

Can you teach me how to become a part of the gold members club?

Can you tell me if the hamster that ran the forums actually died, or is he simply in hiding out of fear from Nickev?
