Hearing Animals Die Deep Underground

I am in DD in hell #2 and I hear the sounds of sheep and chickens die. explanation? It annoys me a little.

just a natural little rendering bug, I don't know what causes it...

ok well this happens when I start a game underground so I guess the outside is not rendered yet so when they spawn they fall and die on to an area that is rendered.
