A - any changes to the XBLIG market place are now impossible, so any ideas or concepts involving the 360 version of the game will not happen.

B - custom skins and mods have been an idea and concept for quite some time now, and i do believe in one of the later updates, after the initial PC release will include custom skins.

C - abilities for all skins is an interesting concept, but also doubtful since it would certainly make some skins OP. unless it was able to be controlled by the world host, I doubt it would happen. Also health or armor based things depend on if the world is creative, dig deep, survival/ what difficulty level the game itself would be on.

its like the 1.6 or the 1.8 updates. the long span updates, that take ages to come out force people away from the game. It's not dead, just a lul while waiting for the update. It also doesnt help that its on old consoles while most people have now moved onto the newer consoles.

Also guys id just like to remind everyone of how slow we got at the point of the 1.7-1.8 wait period. it was over a year, closer to two for the update to release, and as such the forums was kinda "dying" if thats how you want to put it. The fact that most people have moved onto other consoles means that people will be unlikely to go back to the 360 specifically for one game.

Once the PC variant is released it will likely pick right back up, with even more people.
Also some people just move on :P

PC reads the same files as xbox, so simply drag out the files through horizon and place them in your maps folder,

here is a rough rundown of the process, I'm sure a more in depth guide will be created soon.



An in-depth guide has been created (i created it) but as it was for the testers, and back when PC was in first development, it isnt really public yet. I'd assume once PC is released, it will be aswell.

On your Xbox, you just have a save file called "total miner data", so everything would transfer as 1 file.
No, on Xbox it is exposed as one file, but it's actually made up of many files, just like a PC game. So the programs that enable transfer from Xbox to PC show the individual files, and you will be able to transfer them just like any other normal PC files.

e.g. Each Map has it's own folder and contains several files in that folder. Component Packs each have their own folder, and each component in the pack is a separate file in that folder.

This. Once the game does release, I assume given permission we can share the posted method on how to transfer (it actually isnt too difficult). basically it is sifting through your map files/component files and "recoding" (an outside program does this) them to suit PC, then all it is, i just moving them into the correct folder locations in the PC files.

So...
Ashes of Ariandel everyone? I enjoyed it quite a lot actually. Particualrily the final boss, it is one of my, if not my favorite boss in DkS3 now
I beat it in roughly 7-8 hours. It was amazing, and difficult for me (Started it in NG+). I love the arena, and mostly do Duels in it (I'm silver tier in duels, still stone tier in brawl). And holy crap, that main boss was amazing! I've fallen in love with the new weapons too, especially the scythe!

I definitely agree difficulty wide. I played it on my NG+++ character and holy... It was certainly difficult lol. And 100% the new weapons are awesome, I've yet to try out the arena though, should soon!

And that sucks Atlas, hopefully you get the job situation sorted out soon, sucks to see friends go through hard times :(

It achieves the same effect you're looking for.

That would be like saying "hold an item that looks like a controller to achieve the same affect as the tester man portrays"

I see what he is saying, and I rather like the idea. Its like how the sage is small and /gk is tall. The avatars themselves have unique characteristics - not just abilities you're able to achieve with them. Its purely aesthetic and it suites the robotic avatar. I like the idea .
